Scam, quiet literally.
I bought a handbag as a gift for $84.20 on Michael Kors’ website. They received the package, and the next day I paid $38.95 to ship it to Moscow, Russia. A day later, they blocked my account, removed all evidence of my package and payment, and held the handbag hostage. They are demanding $50 to return the handbag to Michael Kors, even though it comes with a free return label and I already paid for shipping, which they are unwilling to honor. Their website states that returning products costs $10, but privately they demand $50. I sent them screenshots and bank statements showing my purchase on Michael Kors’ website because they demanded proof that the card was mine. After that, they went silent and refuse to return or ship my property. In a few days, they may take my property under the pretext of unpaid storage fees, which stem from their refusal to return or ship it despite all fees being paid and documents being provided. Classic textbook scam.
