Terrible. Please save yourself the hassle. False advertising, tech issues, and a very limited platform will cost you SO much money in the long run. They change things on the fly the violate what they initially promise. This is NOT a scalable platform at all. There are way better platforms out there such as LearnWorlds.

The system and customer support is JUNK.
The system and customer support is horrible.
Customer support is slow, and almost never have a clear answer when asked about bugs. they first blame you and then apologize when they see they are wrong.
Bugs all over the backend, nothing works as expected, very poor and low converting user interface on checkout and classes, very little ability to actually market anything with their systems because they are lacking of features.
Simple JUNK, don't waste your time. i pray for the day i will move away from them to another system.

The tool is globally ok but the customers invoices are not valid
The tool is globally ok.
Even if the price increased year after year, with % on each sale or paying emailing sending.
what is annoying me is thar the invoices created are not valid in France !
For the customer invoices they reduce from the total amount ! Customers think they don't pay the right price, and my accoutand ask me to create them again... what a waste of time !

Great pricing, mixed bags on products
I have been using Podia for several months now and have used most of their features, so I feel qualified to leave a review.
The two best things Podia has to offer are pricing and an easy way to create a community.
It's obvious it was build to courses, as the way you can offer digital downloads or coaching sessions is very flawed and makes you need to figure out non-traditional ways for you to do it. An example, for digital downloads it makes your customer create a profile and the customer can only buy that digital download once. And can't gift it in an easy way.
For coaching sessions it straight up needs to connect to a calendar, and if you need your customer to fill out a questionaire beforehand, and then get access to your calendar, that isn't possible in that type of product.
And even in courses you need to find creative solutions to get things to your customer in the format you want. One small, but frustrating example. They offer a timed release of a course [where customer get access to the materials on a certain date], but still allow them to see what has been uploaded in terms of title and structure the moment you upload it. Yes, the customer can't open it, but they can still see the titles and when something has been uploaded. Again, I know it's something small, but it is just another example of things not making much sense.
The support is ok, in most cases they do respond in the promised 8 hours, but sometimes you have to wait longer.
I do hope they are open to suggestion and do some changes, because I do feel that with some minor tweeks [at least they look minor in my eyes], they can without a doubt become a 4/5 or even a 5/5 provider. They have a lot of the important basics down.

I used to love Podia, but their security is bad!
I used to really love Podia, it seemed like a safe and reliable platform for hosting my videos and courses. However, I was devastated to discover that my content had been stolen and is now being widely distributed online. This wasn’t a case of someone screen recording my material; the actual files were accessed and leaked.
This experience has completely shattered my trust in the platform, and I no longer feel comfortable uploading anything to Podia.
When I reached out to their support team, I felt like they prioritized bigger creators over addressing my concerns. It’s disappointing because there are many things I enjoyed about Podia, but I can’t overlook such a critical security issue.
Now, I’m actively searching for a better alternative. While I’ll miss some of Podia’s features, the safety of my content has to come first.

Poor integration
The site is basic, which is fine. The setup is relatively quick. But their API integration is absolutely shocking. With ConvertKit, it's a blanket single tag option, and it's actually meant to be that way.
Very disappointing. I'll stay with them until I get my own setup done more properly, but it's a stopgap service at best.
