Used it many years before, but now it's a really looks like a scam. Polo can cheat you everywhere - look at withdrawal fees as example. To withdraw XCP on Polo (on delisting, so you can _only_ do withdraw) they asks 16XCP transaction fee ~50USD !!! At the same time Bittrex took only 0.2XCP, less than 1$... Same with Decred and other currencies. They set unacceptable fees and force you to pay it. Because they can. That's why it scam. Bye-bye Polo, good luck.

I loved this site until recently, it used to be one of the best and easy to use exchanges but now its like they take your funds hostage and make you go through frustrating levels of verification just to move your coins out

Good exchange if you verify.

Back before Poloniex implemented KYC, they allowed people to deposit as many coins as they wanted. Then, without warning, they implemented KYC and are refusing to allow people to withdraw funds until we give our SSN and a picture of our passport etc. They have already been hacked before and they have a BBB rating of an F so there is no reason to trust them with this much sensitive data. Protect yourself and STAY AWAY.

I have traded my XRP but cannot for the life of me figure out how to withdraw the $? This is ridiculous. I have been trying for weeks to get help to no avail.

I have used Poloniex for 4 years and never had any bad experience, but since 2017 this service is being awful. The biggest issue with Poloniex is that they randomly freeze your account asking for verifications - with no previous notice. They did this at least 3 times over the last year with me. Each time, they take weeks, months to analyze the documents. So, BE AWARE about this company. I'm moving all my assets to other brokers until they fix their own issues.

Today the exchange is a scam In 2017 a lot happened - took 6months for them to verify any account. Non verified was 2000usd withdrawal limit , but no deposit limit, so you can bring them coins, but not taking out - most of deposits and withdrawals are ussualy delayed - half of the coins were in mentenance (the old message was always saying they are wainting for updates from the coins team ....bs) = no deposit or withdrawal - the chat option was taken off, since in the last days you were banned if you said anything that was not in their agenda - no coins from the airdrops . They kept almost all airdrops for themself, even BCH was delivered after it had felt in value - some coins like XVG were kept in mentenance for more than 1 year, and the price on the platform was half of the price on bittrex. So you were forced the sell at half price to get something, since they never let people do a withdrawal while the coin was still listed So for someone who had 2 btc on it , you were forced to get only 1 After all this , people left poloniex, it is a phantom exchange now, low volumes but the same gestapo

I`ve never used an exchange where withdrawals would last for sooooo looooong! It`s unacceptable. Worst customer service ever. Once I waited for 4 months to withdraw. After that I closed my account.
