I had joined in 2023
I had joined in 2023, as a passive 401k investor looking for more. There are tons of rules and jargons in trading that need to be learned before just jumping in. I paper traded for 6 months, did great, way harder when it's your own money, and especially new strategies. Then there are certain rules for different markets. I signed up for 3 programs at once, the program value is there. I really had to eventually go back and analyze why a set up worked or didn't. What day condors work and why. That being said, these are live rooms, with live trades. Trading can be isolating, so getting some leadership and group feedback can be very constructive. I try to not camp on the signals too long if it's a swing or AI pick, sometimes the debit per trade doesn't fit my risk tolerance or stock bias. But if you can take each trade, and see the risk and reward, and setup, that helps a lot. The education is hard, once you get to a moderate trading level, over 1000 trades, then the more advanced trades make more sense. One other note, options are constantly changing. If your experience is ETF's, which are great passive vehicles for growth, you might find the perfect options portfolio needs constant adjustment. STO does daily Q's, and Swing Alerts. Momentum sends out AM video watchlist, which you can transcribe for daily trade ideas. OV does Swings and Hedges, a lot of Diagonals, Calendars, more advanced as well as Weekly or bi-weekly newsletters. All three programs are near term and option friendly.
