Josh called me to tell me about the job. He then said he would call me back if the rate was approved. Nothing... I then had to call back and see he, not sure why you didn't get the email which I got once I was back on the phone with them. He said he forgot to call me back and tell me we got the job. How are we supposed to be on time and represent Protos well like this. We get docked for a lot less and he needs to be retrained.

Protos in notorious for accepting jobs and sending them out to vendors with no details at all, looking only for the vendor with the lowest rate regardless of legal practices of the vendor, and will often put unarmed guards at the site of armed robberies or shootings thus unnecessarily increasing the risk of the life of the guard. It is, and always has been, a race to the bottom in both rates and, of course, quality.

There scoring is outrageous

The communication with dispatch is abysmal. Dozens of work order requests are responded to, only to have CSI informed that the detail was already filled. No long term opportunity has been available despite previous attempts to secure access to long term contracts. Protos on paper is our biggest client, they are also our least profitable one.

Lost a contact due to phone lines being down

Our corporation was contacted by Protos to do guard services for a client in our region. While our billings exactly matched Protos punch reports they eventually debited back three full invoices claiming some type of confirmed overpayment. You asked us to work. We worked. How then could an overpayment occur? After six months of continued denial Protos subsequently referred us to the service agent. We don’t even know whom that is. $7000 net loss. A most unprofessional experience.

Our company provided contracted services to Protos Security under a signed Subcontractor Services Agreement. Despite full performance and multiple attempts to resolve the matter, Protos has failed to pay multiple invoices, honor holiday pay rates agreed to in writing, or respond professionally. We’ve issued formal demand letters dated 2/13/2025 and 3/25/2025, totaling $1,345.87 in overdue invoices. These balances are undisputed and Protos has made no effort to cure the breach within contractual cure periods. This has forced us to explore legal recovery. If you are a prospective vendor, we strongly recommend you proceed with caution, demand upfront terms, and review their track record. Our experience has been disappointing and costly.
