Pumpkin Pet Insurance is the best pet insurance we have ever had. Pumpkin’s Customer Service and quick response to claims are both exceptional. All questions are quickly and thoroughly addressed. Making a claim is so easy. The turn around time for reimbursement for claims is very quick as well. We could not be happier.

The experience with Pumpkin has been excellent so far. It is easy to just take a picture of our dog's bill and then submit our claim. Turn around is quick and payment conveniently deposited into our bank acct.

They will dig into your pets records and find the most minuscule reasons not to cover something even when the note was beyond the time frame of concern. Only keeping coverage due to my pet already incurring over 10k of vet charges the year prior to coverage.

Had two dogs on the wellness plan, was told I would get 150$ annually toward dental cleaning for each dog and 100$ annually for routine blood work for each dog. I did get both dogs teeth cleaned and because they are senior dogs, routine blood work is done prior to the dental cleaning. I submitted the claims for dental cleaning and blood work for both dogs and it was all denied. They stated that gingivitis and tartar build up is a pre existing condition and the blood work was not covered because it was related to the dental cleaning. Please people beware. I cancelled the policies and had to pay them a lot to cancel.

Hi April. We are so sorry for any frustration. At this time out Pumpkin Wellness Plan benefits can only be used for purely preventive procedures and services. Per our Pumpkin Wellness Plan customer agreement, "No Insurance Coverage. Subscription Benefits are NOT AVAILABLE for diagnosis or treatment of any illness or injury." If your pet's dental care was related to an illness or accident, then unfortunately, the plan's preventive benefits would not be eligible for coverage.
