Seniors Buyers Beware
I had written a review previously about the products that we purchased in January, 2020. Shawn Brainard, the owner of the company, pleaded with me to take it down because the review was not as complimentary of the products as he would have liked. My conversation with Shawn took place in October, 2020 and at that time he promised to get the issues resolved and so I deleted the review and I regret having done so. On January 30, 2020 my husband and I attended the dinner at Harry's for the purpose of the presentation by Jeff. We were told that Quality Eco Tech is a Christian company which raised red flags for me. I know Christian behavior and not being honest is not conducive to Christian behavior. Anyway we were told that the object of the company was to "help" seniors to save money on heating bills. Yeah right. Vincent Rampolla was the sales associate that came to make the sale. He was pretty adamant that he was going to make a sale even to the extent of going out to sit in his vehicle to give us time to decide what we wanted to purchase. He tried for 2-3 hours to get us to buy something. I did not want to purchase anything. I wanted to eat my dinner. It was well past dinner time for us but Vincent did not seem concerned at all that he had taken up several hours of our time. I told him that we were not certain that we wanted to purchase at the time and would like to wait until we were more certain. During his sales pitch Vincent even ran a finger across a piece of furniture and told me that I would never have to dust again if we bought the Eco Probiotic System. That sounded good to me. He even looked at our thermostat and told us it was set too high. The Tri Guard MLI would take care of uneven temperatures and greatly reduce our heating bill. Being on fixed income like a lot of seniors this sounded good so we decided to purchase the products. On October 23, 2020 I spoke to Shawn Brainard because from the time of purchase of the products to that time I had not seen any appreciable difference in the amount of dust or the air quality in the house. Nor was there a reduction in my heating bill. At the time of that 10-23-2020 conversation Shawn was very pleasant. He asked me the name of the presenter at the dinner and I told him Jeff. Shawn was not complimentary of Jeff and it seems like everyone that I dealt with is no longer with the company. Anyway on Friday 10-23-2020 Shawn gave my complaint to Marc Coe and Marc Coe in turn gave my information to Joe Gault. Marc told me that Joe was in my area and offered to have him come and check things out. Joe arrived and inspected the attic and added more MLI. He checked the EPS and found that the hose was cracked and had been pointed in a downward direction. Joe changed out the hose and added another bottle of the probiotic because it was empty. Joe told me to not do any dusting until the following Monday as then I should see a big difference. Shawn, in our conversation, told me I'd never have to dust again. I have been having to dust every week just as I did prior to having this equipment installed. Shawn told me in our conversation that he wanted nothing more than to make things right and that he would supply me with probiotic solution for 18 months. When I tried to follow up with Mr. Brainard this week about getting the solution as promised he was nowhere to be found. Initially there was no assessment of whether these products would even work in my home which is a split level. It seems like now I would need to do other things to make the products work like installing ceiling fans and having duct work cleaned(again). These are recommendations from Quality Eco Tech. Shawn had told me not to even bother getting duct work cleaned when we spoke 10-23-2020. To all you seniors I would say please please beware of this company and any other company who invokes Christianity. Don't be fooled. It is just a ploy to take your hard earned $$$. I have never written a review before and as I said I regret having taken the first one down.
