The destination was stunning, staff amazing and boat beautiful. Food was delicious and everything was organised to perfection.

We had the holiday of a lifetime with one of the most experienced Arctic Captains and a team of dedicated professionals guiding, feeding and caring for us in innumerable ways. We travelled in style board our ship and with a sense of exploration and adventure on the zodiacs as we encountered seals, penguins, whales and birds up close and personal. We encountered a range of weather conditions but nothing stood in the way of the most memorable and unbelievable experiences of my lifetime. Wow! Wow! Wow!

An unparalleled adventure to an alternate universe (Antarctica and South Georgia Island) with Quark Expeditions on the Ocean Explorer in Jan/Feb 2026 with the exceptional leadership of Ryan McDevitt. Every detail far exceeded my expectations: landings, zodiac cruises, kayaking, presentations by experts in their fields, friendly & joyful interactions with the expedition leaders, crew, and global audience of adventurers (passengers), and beautiful accommodations. Unequivocally, Quark Expeditions offers a premier experience. It was well worth the time (17 days) and money. I will return time and again for another adventure with Quark!
