I am split down the middle on my experiences with Quontic Bank (QB) after about 45 days. VERY pleased: 1. I have a hi-yield (currently 1%) savings account whereby I can easily make weekly check deposits through the app. 2. I have an online version of that savings account whereby I can easily open account statements and monitor those check deposits while watching the interest grow in that account. 3. I have a debit card I can use at many nearby places should an unexpected financial need arise. NOT pleased: 1. The activation phone number, (866) 633-5293, continues to reject my verification numbers (last four of Debit card, card exp date, and SS), even though I enter those numbers correctly every time, and even though I am calling (as is required by QB) from the only phone number I have, and which has been correctly verified by QB's customer service line, (800) 908-6600. 2. The aforementioned activation line doesn't allow me to go beyond activating my debit card (a debit card which has already been activated), when all I am wishing to do is change my pin number, which I have been told by customer service is the only number I can call to choose my pin number. 3. I have been calling customer service for over a month to get the above issues resolved (the last two very empathetic reps named Jackie and Judy), all of whom have assured me they are escalating the issues to a more advanced team, none of whom have reached out to me with solutions. 4. Many hyperlinks on QB's website don't open (i.e., Mail Plastic Card Pin) after clicking on them, no matter which browser I use. 5. Back button kicks me out of the website entirely, having to re-login and re-navigate my way back to where I was. I look forward to better QB experiences soon. Starting an account was quick and easy. I set up automatic monthly deposits into my Quontic savings account and I'm excited to watch my savings grow.
