Thank you for sharing your experience with our services, and we're glad to hear that you've been overall satisfied with the service and support we provide. I will make sure to pass along your kind words over to our support team :)
We understand your concerns about the IP quality related to ColoCrossing, which is just one of several upstream providers we work with. We'd like to clarify that we offer a variety of data center and upstream providers to cater to different needs, and do have different options available, depending on product line, resource needs, location requirements, etc. Our aim is to provide the best possible experience for all our customers, and as a diverse provider of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions, we operate in 20+ datacenter locations globally.
It's important to note that regardless of the hosting provider, it's quite common for a few services and websites intended for residential use only (such as Netflix, Hulu, etc) to restrict access from datacenter-based IPs and ASN's. This is a hosting industry norm and not a specific restriction imposed by RackNerd. For example, while you didn't specifically mention Netflix, it serves as a practical and real-world example of a streaming platform that enforces content and region restrictions on their end. Such limitations are beyond the control of any hosting provider.
Please don't hesitate to reach out to our team via email at: [email protected]. We'd be more than happy to assist you in finding an alternative solution or perhaps a migration to another location that better suits your needs.
Once again, thank you for your feedback.
