reading plus was my primary torture. Every single day I scrolled through the same basic ass stories just to end up reading one and wanting to hang myself with a Chromebook charger. If you're a teacher on this app reading these I recommend never to use it never mind inflict it onto your students. Reading plus is just as bad as Sparx and if you disagree, your opinion isn't wanted.

This thing almost made me cry, if I could give it 0 stars then I would without hesitation, for the love of God and mankind please tell your teacher to not use this because you will get PTSD and your brain will kill itself like my brain did. Avoid this thing at all costs! I almost 360 no-scoped boris johnson after doing 1 quiz or whatever on reading plus. Anyone who gives it 5 stars and I say this with all due respect but please go see a doctor. (stay safe yall)

My school has replaced all compulsory homework with both Reading Plus and Sparx (Maths) for my year, it is set weekly and due in on Monday. On Reading Plus, we have to read 5 "books" and do 1 set of vocab. In my opinion, the vocab section is perfectly fine, I enjoy it, but I absolutely hate the reading section. Their options are absolute crap, and their way of categorising everything can be confusing (no search bar, limited tags). Their "books" are short, and im assuming are hand-picked because of how little options there are. As I am an indie game dev, I somewhat know the ropes of how these applications work, and I know that there is a much easier way of adding books, that would also give a much broader range. I dont understand why this app is built to be so limited, when it can easily be something more, if they actually gave users a proper choice.

Reading plus is such an uninteresting and boring website that anyone who uses it will use it only when their teacher tells them to. It's also interesting that Reading Plus only replied to the people with a 5-star review.

Reading plus sucks. I have to do it for school, and it only causes stress and annoyance. Every story drags on and it teaches absolutely nothing. Use this website at your own risk.
