We first heard about Renewal by Anderson at our local Walmart. The associate was very friendly and I though, sure, it's a quote, why not. It's good for a year he said. Fast forward... We had a bad experience before even talking to anyone about an estimate. First off, I wrote my name clearly on they form at Walmart and when I received the email my name was butchered, which shows lack of detail attention. Secondly, we set aside time in our home and family to have someone set up an estimate with us. Nobody showed up. Afterwards we got a notification from our doorbell that someone was at our door. In the video you can see a woman walking up our stairs just a couple steps. She stops, looks at our door, walks back down, stands at our outside door (which was wide open and welcoming into our porch), then proceeds to leave. That shows just how (un)willing their staff is to meet with potential customers and put an effort into meeting people and making a sale. I have never been so disappointed with a company, especially before even getting a chance to talk with anyone about business. Afterwards I was looking at reviews and I read they are way overpriced and not a good company to work with. I would have to agree on the not a good company part from our experience.

I own a 2 family, in Watervliet. Since I purchased the home, in 2003, I have had all 32 windows replaced; by Anderson Windows. I have a large bedroom window; that is out of alignment. I called Anderson on September 22nd; and left a message requesting a call back - no response. I left a 2nd request on October 20 - still no response. This is NOT a reliable company.

Four years ago we had Renewal by Anderson replace all of our windows for close to $100K dollars. After a wind storm last week, a piece of the aluminum trim blew off. When I called the service department they informed me that this is only covered for two years and it's my problem now. The way they install this trim leaves it with nothing holding it in place, I can't believe we haven't had problems before but I can only guess that all the windows will be blowing out sometime soon. This is a terrible way to put up trim, there is no reason for this to be left loose, it's not like you should ever need to remove it. To me this was a cost cutting move and I'm left with the result. The windows are great but the trim is terrible and their customer service is worse.

This company is very agressive. They scam you with e-mails and do not accept unsubscribe. Actually I never even subscribed, but still the advertising is overwhelming. A quick research online says that this is a huge problem for them, as they do not send everything themself. However the scam e mails are directly attached to their offerings, making me suspect they are behind all the false domains as well. This has been lasting for years and they are not putting in any effort into stopping it. The only thing that can stop it is consumer power - find another vendor. At least - read the reviews of them before making any agreement, plenty of reviews here says the same - "I wish a read the reviews before signing a contract". That tells a lot.

I am so beyond annoyed. Whoever your River Falls Wi door to door to door person is, you need to have a talk with them. I’m a night shift worker in healthcare. I turn my doorbell off and only have it chime outdoors while I sleep. Your salesman should NOT be pounding on my door so hard that it literally shakes my entire upstairs bedroom and sends me running downstairs like my house is on fire. If no one comes to the door MOVE ALONG!

We had windows installed and a sliding glass door twice due to the poor quality of work. For a company that charges so much you would think they would get the job done the first time correctly. Even after fixing it the second time it was still messed up. Definitely need your research and I would suggest finding someone else to do your windows.

Extremely Overpriced and Unimpressive Products With extensive professional experience in construction, building materials, and custom fabrication, I was thoroughly disappointed with Renewal by Andersen. After evaluating their products and obtaining estimates from several premium window manufacturers, including Marvin and Pella, I found Renewal by Andersen’s pricing extraordinarily difficult to justify. Both Marvin and Pella offered significantly more competitive pricing, even with professional installation included, without compromising on the quality one would expect from premium window manufacturers. The sales presentation was equally disappointing. The representative who visited my home demonstrated surprisingly limited knowledge of the technical specifications of the products he was selling. To make matters worse, the window sample he brought was poorly functioning — hardly an impressive demonstration of a supposedly high-end product. Ultimately, I purchased German-made European tilt-and-turn windows for my entire house. The quality, engineering, functionality, and overall value were substantially more impressive, at a considerably more reasonable price than Renewal by Andersen had quoted. In my opinion, Renewal by Andersen relies far too heavily on premium pricing without demonstrating the corresponding level of product quality, technical sophistication, or value. I strongly encourage anyone considering their windows to explore alternatives, particularly Marvin, Pella, and European window manufacturers, before committing to such an expensive purchase. A premium price does not automatically make a premium product.
