Don't use their credit screening! They don't provide access to applicants / tenant social security #'s for reporting tenant bad debt!

Do not like the Dashboard set up. Do not like that you cannot have two email addresses on the account. Got unsubscribed from emails and tried to get help resubscribing and they just keep explaining the same thing over and over again which did not work. Seems like every week is a new issue.

We are starting to scale our rentals & decided to get a portfolio management software. RentRedi was a top contender based on the features of their website. I engaged them in July of 2025 for a year on a discounted rate & I am already looking for a different software. Their accounting is barely adequate, but it gets the job done. Once a payment is attributed to a charge, you may not change it, which is reasonable. They charge $1 per payment received & if there is a second charge, (ie rent, reimbursement, etc) they will charge $1 per item so one payment could be $3 in ACH charges. Ridiculous! They also advertised that they report back to the credit bureaus, which has to be paid by either the LL or tenant, but didn’t advertise that it was a paid service - they tout it as part of their base services when you’re looking online. That was a big disappointment after I had signed up. Support is a joke, I think it’s AI because they never really address the question, just pick a key word and send you an article about it. You have to literally take their face & put it in front of the issue to get anything. ACH usually takes about 3-5 days to hit my account, which is a pretty decent amount of float. The latest I’ve gotten a payment is on the 9th. I wouldn’t recommend RentRedi to anyone. There seems to be better options out there that do a better job of supporting us landlords.

I wanted to like RentRedi, and at initial glance it looked like it did everything a small landlord/property manager would need. Unfortunately, once you start using it, you quickly realize the user experience is not good and several limitations are causing frustratoins for my tenants, myself and my team. We are currently looking for a different solution. Here are a few of our frustrations: **Maintenance requests do not allow for a way to easily communicate back and forth with the tenant about the issue. You must move the conversation to the Chat feature which causes information to be in multiple places and teammates that need updates may not be on the chat or there may be multiple chat threads about the same issue. **If you pay for Latchel 24/7 emergency maintenance support, the maintenance request becomes confusing for the owner/teammate and tenant. All requests (emergency or not) automatically goto Latchel. Latchel asks the tenant a series of questions which may have already been answered in the request itself and then the tenant receives a notice the request has been canceled if Latchel determines it does not meet the definition of "emergency" maintenance or if the owner/teammate manually takes over the request. **Chat feature is new, however has some significant issues/limitations. Only the primary/owner for the RentRedi account can initiate a chat with both tenants and teammates on the chat. If a teammate (i.e. an employee, maintenance person, etc.) initiates a chat with the tenant, they cannot include any other teammates on the chat. This leaves the information discussed only visible to that teammate/tenant. This causes duplicate work, tenant frustration for multiple people asking the same question, etc. The chat feature is slow and causes the app/web to hang when populating the "to" field and when hitting send. **Setting up a new lease/charges is extremely confusing. You aren't sure if the tenant is receiving notifications while stumbling through the process. Extending from a fixed end date to month to month (or any extension really) is also confusing. **RentRedi Support is usually pretty quick to respond via chat, however they tend to not understand true issues and treat most support requests as a "how to" question and just copy/paste the help text they find with the most keywords that resemble the issue you typed. Then someone else may takeover the chat and doesn't read what has already been discussed/tried and duplicates your effort. I have had 4 different people "help" me within an hours time. **The Tasks functionality is very limited. You can't assign tasks to people, associate them to a specific property or tenant, group/re-order them or have multiple date fields to differentiate between created date, due date, completed date, etc.

Something is wrong with the enrollment process for the tenants. We have 25 rental units and well over half of them have had problems connecting to Rentredi initially - and some of them still are not able to connect after nearly two months. I have opened tech support tickets that have not been resolved. Several tenants have contacted Rentredi for help and end up very frustrated with the problem unresolved; one tenant told me Rentredi is very nice and courteous on the phone but ineffective in solving the connection problem and if we force her to continue with the system she will move. I really appreciate the idea behind Rentredi and certainly the cost, but the frustration on both my side as the landlord and on the part of the tenants is unbearable.

Customer service is terrible. Have asked the same question of several people with screenshots, and all they do is copy and paste from the help screen-everyone of them. And this is on a thread. It would be great if they hired a couple of in-house CS/IT people rather than outsourcing overseas. The platform itself is reasonably easy to use. No complaints from any of our tenants, even the few who are not very computer savvy.

This app and website are NOT seamless. They do not have a "readily available" support line. They advertise they'll respond through chat faster but even then it has taken hours and sometimes more than 24 hours for them to respond to me and once she never did respond back on chat after I submitted the screenshot of the issue I was having which they did not fix! You can only reach a live agent when you call in if you click on "sales" otherwise you have to leave a message for them to call you back. On at least 2 occasions no one ever called me back. I recently called in because it showed on their site my deposit from my tenant going to someone else's account so the "sales" rep pushed me through to the "support" line where I had to leave a message. Still haven't had a return call. They should take support call-ins more seriously than they do sales call-ins because these are their current users that are making them money!!! It takes at least 7-10 days for you to get your deposit even though they advertise it sooner. Also there is way too much clicking needed and unnecessary time needed you will have to spend just inputting a renter's information or that they made a payment. I did not find this company's website or app to be very helpful and I have only 10 properties to list. One thing I did like and one of the only reasons I chose to use this company was because they offered an option to add a team member so I can have someone help me manage this. However, you cannot even see your team member's information on your profile once they sign up, you can only change their permissions from yours which is ridiculous because you should be able to communicate with them through the app or website but that's not an option either. I will probably be going with another company. Just too many issues! Also I signed up for a monthly rate of just under $20 but they raised that by 30% within 2 months of signing on with them.

We have 16 Cabins in Soldotna AK. We are fairly tech savvy users - and in general you can eventually get most of what you need done by contacting the support team and having them take you through the steps. Biggest headline feedback: 1) Please read all of my threads with your support team members. All of them are very patient teaching me how to use WAY TOO MANY clicks to get done what should be simple/intuitive tasks in the software. 2) This platform is not 'client/renter' centric. Any of your users are out of business if client's are not well taken care of. Half of the icons on the left side of the screen should be consolidated under 'Renters'. 3) I use safari, and 1/2 the time I send a lease for signature, the process fails...don't know why 4) Returning a security deposit should be a single click - the current process is NOT intuitive, yet this step is a core process step with every renter 5) For some reason, we have a lot of prospect renters indicate that they want to complete the app - but then don't. Am wondering (since I have not used your link myself yet) - if the process is not intuitive/burdensome and that reflects poorly on me as the landlord). Our brand needs to 'easy to use, very clear, intuitive, accurate'. Your platform needs to align with our brand image. 6) You could dramatically decrease your customer support time demands by more proactively training users on the common tasks used for every single renter 7) The Dashboard was interesting at first - but I believe needs a rehaul. It lists interesting, but not ACTIONABLE information. If it was me, I would want to know the following buckets on a dashboard: 1) What is my occupancy rate for the next 3, 6, 9, 12 months? 2) Who has leases coming due that I need to pulse to extend or renegotiate terms? 3) What is my projected cash flow next 3, 6, 9, 12 months 4) What are the top reasons why 'applicants' are NOT completing the lease application? 8) I come back to every action starts and ends with a renter/client. Make the functionality for the top 10 tasks that must happen for each client be 'single click' and very intuitive events...I don't like having to spend so much time with your support team (although they are very good) to perform what should be very routine events for the acquisition, setup, management, and closure of clients on the platform.
