Hi Jamie, unfortunately, your information here is not accurate. As explained in my email to you, your order was not late. The UPS scheduled delivery time was a day later than what was originally stated, but still in the scheduled delivery time frame. I also provided you with the video showing the dry ice being placed inside your box. Additionally, we ship nationwide and at this time of year in the summer months, it would be impossible for your products to arrive cool to the touch(which you originally stated), if we did not place dry ice in the box. The products would arrive warm or hot. As I stated in my email to you, we provide very important information placed inside your box regarding your order and our policy when it arrives. According to your first email, it appears you did not read that information. On that paper we state that although we do strive for your products to arrive frozen, if they arrive and are thawed, as long as they are still cool to the touch, per USDA confirmation, it is safe to refreeze and consume. We also state that it is normal for the dry ice to be completely dissipated upon arrival even though we do add extra dry ice to account for small delays. You stated in your original email the products were still cool to the touch. When I explained they were safe to refreeze and consume, you changed your wording on how the products arrived. I also stated that on that paper placed inside your box, we ask for photos when there are issues with the products as UPS requires those from us if we need to make a claim. You failed to provide those photos for us. I offered to make a claim for you, but explained to you that since your products arrived cool to the touch and arrived in the delivery time frame, and you did not provide photos, the claim may be denied by UPS. I’m very sorry Jamie. We appreciate you for giving us a try.
*** In response to your edited post, the video we sent to you was viewed by multiple employees and followed through to each station showing your order number from the very beginning. We are not a company that operates under dishonesty. We would never lie about a video that is sent to a customer. Like I said, we strive for your products to arrive frozen. However, per USDA confirmation, the products are still completely safe as long as they are cool to the touch. The products could not have been ruined when arriving in that condition. Again, I’m very sorry Jamie.
*** in response to your additional edit, I explained to you in our email communications that we will file a claim with UPS for reimbursement. I also explained to you that they may deny the claim since the products arrived cool to the touch, in the allotted timeframe and that you did not provide photos of the products upon arrival that UPS requires when we submit a claim, also stated on the paper we placed inside your box. I also explained to you that as stated on our website, we cannot accept meat back because it is a perishable item.
***Again, I’m very sorry Jamie. Thank you.
