I used RJM Tax Exemption to set up state sales tax exemptions. I was referred to them by a company called Lunar Automation. RJM did set up most of my state sales exemptions in a timely manner, but they were slow to follow up with one of the states - California. I had to keep following up with them to follow up with that state, then they told me I had to call to complete it. To complete this tax process they set up an e-mail address for me under their company's email address. I found out after the fact that they sent an e-mail to the state to follow up and signed it as if they were me and not a company working on my behalf which I did not like. They used the e-mail they set up to open a Walmart store for me and file for tax exempt status with Walmart. After finding out working with Lunar Automation was a scam (you can check out their reviews) I asked RJM to close out the Walmart account RJM opened for me with the e-mail they made for me and they refused. They kept saying they closed down the tax exemptions with the state, which they did most except for 1 of them, however they are refusing to close the Walmart account they opened for me. It is very fishy that this company would set up a Walmart store for me with an e-mail address from their company and then say they are not connected to the dropshipping business which turned out to be a scam. I do not recommend using them. I received a response from RJM, but for clarification- I gave permission to complete on behalf of me not write emails and sign them with my name! -RJM opened the account for me and stated via email they can't close it because someone needs to call and they do not make phone calls. -I had to call the state of California to get those exemptions approved and close them out personally. -They kept telling me there was "confusion" about what I was asking even though I sent emails and screenshots and forwarded the request to the person who opened the Walmart account for me. -Lunar Capital is owned by Reuben James Mattinson (RJM). Other members of RJM are also listed as officers of that company in UK registered business records.

Hi Ariana, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to see this was your experience and we have posted some of the key points below to try to help resolve any confusion. The contractual agreement you signed with us at the start of the process gave us permission to apply for sales tax exemptions and contact state departments on your behalf and in your name. It is a common industry practice as states will not speak to third parties without power of attorney. Walmart doesn’t allow us to close a tax exempt account. It’s false to claim we ‘refused’, we merely made you aware we were unable to close it. We closed down all your sales tax exemptions with the various state departments with no exceptions as you requested. Whilst we have worked with Lunar Automation, they are an entirely separate company and as an external company we can’t be held responsible for their actions. Lunar Capital is not owned by Reuben Mattinson and no employees are linked with it either. We reached out to you shortly after your review, and would appreciate the opportunity to resolve the issue.
