I've had problems with keeping the logins I've created when I redo my Windows computer. I've lost them several times because there is no way to back them up. Other than that, I love the program!

Hi Eugene - According to our system you have a RoboForm Everywhere subscription. As long as the sync functionality is turned on, when you redownload and install RoboForm on your new/updated Windows machine, simply log in to your existing RoboForm account and all of your saved logins will populate. When I open a web site (a bookmark) , I click on Roboform command to transfer username and password and it doesn't work. So most of the time, I have to copy each and paste it on the site before I can open it. This is the only and main problem I encounter with roboform. Otherwise, Roboform is perfect. May be someone can help me?

I'm using Roboform for several years now. There a very few sites that Roboform does not "see" and on which I have to type in my userid and password. But I'm very pleased with this product and I'll keep on using it for ever.

I have used Roboform for years and have liked it. A new release now masks the passwords by default (when you are looking at the list in editor). This means that, every time you want to see or copy a password while in the editor, you have to click on an "eye" icon to unmask the password. When I contacted customer support to see if there were a user-defined override available to unmask the passwords, the operator told me that it was implemented as a security measure. I could have guess that that was the motivation; but, if you are in the editor, it is because you have entered your master password. I have several friends who refuse to update to the newer update just to avoid this inconvenience.

Hello Roy, Thanks for your feedback. An additional update we made to the Editor is to add a Copy button right next to the View icon, so if you are looking to copy the password for pasting elsewhere, it takes one click. For cases where you want to view the password unredacted, we are exploring adding a universal option to make passwords in the Editor visible in plain text, similar to our mobile versions.

One problem I've found. There seems to be an extra step involved in opening RoboForm now. Not sure I understand the need for it and it's not a problem, just a curiosity.

This is as a result of our faster and more secure v8 One File format: https://help.roboform.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003954267-What-is-One-File- We do realize that for some workflows this does create an extra step over our previous default configuration. However, many new commonly requested features such as Secure Sharing could not work with our old file system. And in addition we had many users who were uncomfortable with their Login names not being behind a password, even on their own machine. An option you may want to explore if you want to reduce Master Password prompts is to use the 'Don't ask for Master Password' option: https://help.roboform.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000287591-How-to-turn-off-request-for-Master-Password

I have been using Roboform for over 7 years and loved it. Recently it has stopped filling in forms on random websites in my Opera browser. I tried their live chat for support and it told me I had to wait 2 minutes and 39 seconds. After four minutes of waiting it told me there were no reps available and to try again later. Then I tried the phone and waited 15 minutes. I got a person and after about 7 minutes of troubleshooting, the line was disconnected and when I called back I got a busy signal. This company seems to be having technical support problems. I'll try again later, but my first experience with tech support from this company is not encouraging. To be fair...when the program works I love it. This review is only for the one tech support experience. Update: 9-15-2016 - Jwalls posted below offering to personally help me out. I wrote to him immediately and outlined my problem. I mentioned that if the problem wasn't solved I would start looking for an alternative. program. As of today days and days later I haven't heard a word. I will update this review as soon as I hear (or don't) from him (or her). Upadate 9/16/2016 I head from Justin and will try his solution of updating my browser. I will update this review after I try it.
