Defective from day one, no refund, and an unsafe bike
I bought a Roll-Road Emma 3.0 in September 2025 and it has been defective from the start. Over more than nine months it has had abnormal braking and brake noise, a stripped front brake mounting thread, a persistent front-end wobble, a hydraulic brake fluid leak, and finally the display/power system died completely — the bike no longer turns on with both batteries fully charged. The instability caused me to fall and injure my knee. Instead of arranging a repair, support (60+ emails) repeatedly asked me to diagnose faults, film videos, dismantle parts and install replacements myself. I am not a bike mechanic, and there is no authorised service centre in my state (Queensland). At times they blamed me for the faults ("improper operation", "not holding the handlebars firmly enough"). They refused a refund, relying on a 30-day return policy that their own website says applies "in the United States only." I escalated to the Queensland Office of Fair Trading (ref C-2026-68788). Under Australian Consumer Law a product must be safe, durable and of acceptable quality — mine was none of these. I cannot recommend this bike or this company.
