We've used Rover services twice so far for our 3 Boxers. We have had amazing experiences and will continue to use our sitters in the future. I trust those who are on the site and love the updates we get while our pups are on their very own vacation too! We highly recommend Rover for anyone who needs pet sitting services!

What makes Rover work are the people actually doing the sitting. I lucked out and found a good one right away. What I don't like is the paying in advance. I like to book my stays as far in advance as I know about them, but that shouldn't mean Rover gets to hold on to my money then. Nonetheless, my dog enjoys being in home and this is the best option to find a reasonably priced sitter who offers that.

Rover is a great option for pet parents looking for affordable dog boarding. Our Rover sitter was a dog owner herself, and took great care of our two pups while my wife and I were out of town for a week. She sent us pictures each day, along with a recap of daily activities in the evenings. After a bad experience with one of those "cageless" boarding places in NYC, we were glad to find an affordable option with such hands-on care.

I am a repeat Rover customer hahibg experience with three different oet sitters over the past year. As a company, Rover provides phenomenal customer service and a wide variety of boarding options for busy pet owners like myself. I have two rambunctious springer spaniels who require a lot of attention and exercise. Rover has been a wonderful resource in assisting me to find reputable care takers near my home in Sunnyvale. While not all of the placements have worked out for my dogs' temperament, I appreciate having the security of booking through Rover. They utilize efficient reservation methods, offer timely communication, and friendly service representatives. If you are a frequent traveler or need help finding quality care for your beloved pet while at work, I definitely would recommend Rover.

As long as you go with someone on the Rover list that has previous experience within the Rover service, it is GREAT. The insurance, the listings, the ratings, all make Rover a very helpful and seamless experience. The only thing that is a caveat, is that there are people listed that have never done it, and can say whatever they want about how they love animals and blah blah blah, but we found someone that, in reality, just wanted some extra money and was not responsible enough to even be awake for the early morning departure that we had we agreed upon. We instead found, through Rover, a more experienced person at a very reasonable rate who is now our go-to person for all travel situations where we need pet care.

We really appreciated being able to become connected to Katie thru the Rover web site. I had purchased a coupon and when it came time to use it the site offered many sitters from whom to chose. I highly recommend looking into using a private sitter for the one on one care . My husband and I enjoyed peace of mind knowing he was in a caring home environment for our days away.

My pup didn't do well in a boarding situation - it was just too stressful for her. I was looking for a smaller place that she could stay when we needed to go out of town or be gone for the day. My neighbor happened to mention Rover.com. I checked out three "sitters" and have tried two. One was slow to respond, the other two were great. I do wish that Rover did a bit of checking on them but doing the meet and greet and reading the reviews seemed to work well. I'm thankful that I found these pet sitters - it solves a big problem for me - where to leave the pooch when she can't stay at home.

My only difficulty was the first family I tried, on their page it listed availability dates on their calendar for the dates I needed. I then received an email response later stating they would not be available, the dates remained open on their page.
