Beware of Shipping!!!!!

My beef here is they do not tell you what your shipping cost will be at check out. I would have NEVER ordered these items if I knew the shipping would be more than what the product cost!!!!! I order 2 products of Loctite epoxy 50mL version. The products are what I needed and its a good product. Now, I placed the order for $33.09 for the 2 items, the shipping was not included and it indicated the charge for shipping would calculated at time of shipping and billed to my CC. The items came from Kansas City, MO to me in Columbia, MO(about 150 miles). So, I get my items shipped separately and I'm billed $21 shipping for one item and $23 for the other. My dropped when I saw this, $44 for shipping. I could have driven to KC cheaper and picked it up in person. Or, I should have bought more items to reach the $99 free shipping criteria. Beware of Shipping, call and order and get real pricing for shipping

I'm including some contextual information here in our reply that may be helpful for others: We serve as suppliers of industrial supplies for many businesses nationwide shipping both hazardous materials and standard handling items. Although not our primary focus, we also do our best to provide excellent customer service to one-time, small order buyers, such as yourself. In these situations we often open box, and ship a single item at a loss to satisfy our customers. To do so, it requires our staff to make manual adjustments to orders so that the customer isn't left with such a large shipping burden, especially when shipping multiple single items from different locations. In the case of your order, Mark, our manual review process was skipped due to human error, and thus your shipping cost was not adjusted to the normal price we would have you pay. In light of this, we have issued you a refund for the shipping costs for the higher shipping cost item. We apologize for our error on this, and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced as well. Although this situation is not ideal for us, or for you we expect, we appreciate your business and your time spent reviewing us. It is our hope that you enjoy your products. We will work to provide solutions to these types of issues so that they do not occur for others in the future.
