I was so excited when we received our Safe Step and when I took my first bath. I have Lupus and osteoarthritis and couldn’t take baths in a regular tub because of this. I had no trouble getting in the tub or getting out and I recommend to anyone with issues and even those that don’t but just want to be safer. It was so relaxing. Thank you Safe Step.

This was supurb, professional installation experience…
This was a very professional installation of my safestep tub. Joe and Kevin were very professional installers and did a great job. Of note is the clean up of the residuial from the old tub and attention to the tinest detail. Was amazed at the time they spent making our experience the very best. Debbie did a great job in explaning the process.

Subway tile has a black line.
The tub is fine. The finished on the walls has a large seam that is showing a black line. They tell me that can't fix it because the backing (Subway tile) is not as long as my wall. Why was I not told this? This large company should be able to order a special size. The black line is very pronounced. I was told by the installers that it would go away if I used vinegar to clean it. I did this and no results. To spend this much money, and not be able to fix this, is not acceptable. I was told a month ago, they would get back to me, because they had to talk with management. Angry about this.

WENDY FROM SAFE STEP IS VERY VERY NICE…
WENDY FROM SAFE STEP IS VERY VERY NICE AND IS TRYING TO HELP US WITH ANY PROBLEMS WE MIGHT HAVE . WE ARE STILL TRYING TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT. I'M NOT TO HAPPY WITH THE SURGE OF THE BUBBLES OR THE JETS BEHIND YOUR BACK. THEIR HAS TO BE A WAY THAT THE JETS DON'T SHOOT UP THE BACK OF THE WALL. I WILL KEEP TRYING TO FIGURE THIS MACHINE OUT. WOULD BE NICE IF WENDY COULD SEND SOMEONE OUT TO GIVE US HANDS ON INSTRUCTIONS. WE ARE OLD AND NEED HELP. THANK YOU CAROL WINN. P.S. WENDY IS TRULY TRYING TO HELP US. SHE IS A VERY SWEET LADY. IT IS NOT HER FAULT THE BUBBLES JUMP OVER THE SIDE OF THE TUB. I JUST WISH SOMEONE COULD TURN DOWN THE SURGE OF THE BUBBLES.

Unethical Business Practices
If I could, the star would be negative. My dad is disabled, since I used Safe Step to install a shower, I thought it would be beneficial for him to have a low step tub. What a disaster, the representative said nothing would be touched, the space would look a lot as if the walk-in tub had been in place for years and that the tub would need to be custom made for the space. Nothing but lies; the original contractor committed to the job three or so weeks, the job was assigned to another contractor. It was a nightmare. not only was it overpriced, $16,000+, they also removed parts of the wall and floor leaving plywood exposed.
Who would opted to spend more money in advance on repairing exposed walls and floor? As this is what I was told, my dad signed stating he would absorb the cost. What! So, I began calling the numbers on file, finally, after calling all of the numbers available on the internet, leaving a message for the complaint officer was a joke, she just has the title.
The unethical attorney for Safe Step conveniently called me, stating he could not discuss, as I was not the homeowner. Once again just a smoking glass and mirrors, not wanting to take responsibility.
Do not use this company, the company uses unethical business practices.
If you would like to see the horrible work left behind by safe step, please respond to the review.

While we are always disappointed when a customer is not completely satisfied with a Safe Step Walk-In Tub, we are compelled to address the specific complaints here of (1) time of installation and (2) exposed flooring and wall. The contract here did not provide for installation within three weeks. Instead, the estimated time for installation was 4-6 weeks. An electrician was required to inspect the property before installation, which resulted in a very slight delay from the estimated time set forth in the contract.
The contract also explicitly addresses the flooring and wall complaints. Here, Mr. Vinson had a tiled in garden jacuzzi tub. Consequently, there would be exposed flooring after installation. On the Job Specifications page of the contract, which was signed by Mr. Vinson and is attached, the following is stated in the Notes section:
H.O. understands they are responsible for remaining exposed floor covering, no shower package, no surround…
Additionally, in paragraph (2) of the Customer Installation Agreement page, it is stated that the customer understands that he/she/they is/are responsible for “All flooring; tile work.”
Consequently, it was stated in two places that the customer was responsible for the flooring. Regarding the surround, it was also noted that no surround would be installed and Mr. Vinson did not pay for any surround. In short, Safe Step Walk In Tub fully completed all terms of the contract with Mr. Vinson. We hope that he enjoys the walk-in tub for many years to come.

Well Done Installation
We are very pleased with the installation. The installation team was very efficient and courteous. The installation was completed in one day.
Safe Step tub is an excellent addition to our household and it is all that was advertised. The tub and its features are very easy to use.
We are so pleased with the entire experience and are enjoying using the tub.

Incredible tub, disappointing shower
Incredible tub, efficient installation crew. Shower option is flawed design. Shower head and hand-held wand are cheap for such an expensive tub. Tub design does not incorporate the run-off of the shower correctly which causes water to run down sides onto floor. Poor design for such an expensive tub. Needed to have plastic pieces to be glued to sides of tub to correct, giving tub a cheaper look.

I’m sorry that I bought it
I’m sorry that I bought it. The drain won’t close properly and constantly leaks. Have to keep adding water. I’ll never buy another one.
