I bought crypto many times and received my funds shortly after. I’ve been using Sardine for about a year now and it’s been a great experience. When I needed support they have been very friendly and helpful. No complaints here!

Thank you for feedback and we apologize for your experience. Recent delays caused due to an outage with a downstream provider have since been resolved and all impacted orders have been refunded.

Slow transfers, hidden costs. They charged me much more for my purchase than advertised. There are dozens of other options out there, use anyone else. I'm obviously not the only one who thinks this either, just look at the vast majority of their reviews! Edit: Today, the 14th of January 2026, I received a response from my review. This response has come THREE AND A HALF MONTHS after reaching out to them. Well done on that customer service /s! Please, anyone wanting to purchase Bitcoin... do so with any other seller to avoid high fees and shoddy customer support!

Hi there Ron, While we only recently updated our public response here on Trustpilot, our records show that our support team was in active communication with you via email throughout your original request to ensure your concerns were addressed. We’re sorry to hear your experience wasn't what you expected. We strive to be transparent with all costs, however, total prices can fluctuate based on market rates and network fees which are outside our control. We’d like to look into your specific transfer to clarify the charges. Please reach out to us at [email protected] with your order details.

I was able to receive crypto from them, though their ‘instant’ advertisement is misleading. It took them over two hours to send me my BTC, so just keep that in mind. In terms of legitimacy, I do think they are legit.

Hi there Boris, thank you for the honest feedback and for confirming our legitimacy! We’re glad you received your BTC safely. While our payment processing is instant, blockchain network congestion can occasionally cause delays. To improve this, we’ve recently partnered with a new liquidity provider to offer even faster delivery times. We appreciate your patience and your support!

Tried to make a purchase with US documents and a card. Exchange collected all the information: financial, personal, and biometric, just to deny at the very end. Support never replied, just sent me a letter with my own complaint back.

Hi there, we’re sorry for the frustration you experienced. As a regulated financial service, we are required to perform security and KYC checks to protect our users. While not every application is approved, this is done to ensure the highest level of safety.

This is the 5th time sardine has held my crypto i bought through them. Every single time the price was dropping and they waited until the price went back up above my purchase price so they have to pay less for the same amount of crypto i bought. Why do they take my money if they know their liquidity pools are locked. They are not locked for a 300 dollar transaction. Sardine is frauding its customers by waiting until the price goes higher then what we pay so they have to send us less money technically. I cant believe they have the audacity to actually have a fraud department or do fraud protection. How do we get fraud protection from sardine?

Hi Kyle, We’re sorry for the frustration these delays have caused. To clarify, Sardine does not hold orders to wait for price changes; we locked in your purchase price at the time of your transaction. The delays you experienced were due to technical sync issues with our liquidity provider. We can confirm that all your assets was successfully delivered to your Exodus wallet. We value your loyalty as a returning customer and kept you informed of these delays via email. To prevent this from happening again, we have since upgraded our liquidity partnerships to ensure much more reliable delivery times moving forward. We value your business and are committed to doing better.

DO NOT USE THEM. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DELIVER YOUR ASSETS. ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH A CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA EMAIL. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.

Hi Vicky, we take these claims seriously and immediately looked into your history. Our records show that you have successfully received your assets on multiple occasions with us. We sincerely apologize for the delay you experienced; this was due to a technical sync issue with a liquidity provider we have since replaced. We’ve upgraded our liquidity partnerships specifically to ensure the faster, more reliable delivery our customers deserve.
