I've started using Shelly relays in early 2023, and had contacted them before with questions while planning my non-obtrusive smart home enhancements. So far it's been smooth sailing and I've had only pleasent experiences with their support team. I've had one device fail, out of 60, and even though it had been bought over a year ago, maybe even 2.5 years ago (I ordered multiple batches), they issued a replacement.

I've been using Shelly products for over 5 years, and they've been great—very useful and reliable. You can choose to use the Shelly app, or integrate the devices into your own system. I do the latter with Home Assistant, and all the products work flawlessly. Here are some of the ways I use Shelly: Smart lighting: I've made all the lights in my apartment smart. Now I can turn off all the lights when I leave, or create scenes that make certain things happen in a specific sequence. Device control: I use Shelly plugs for my 3D printers. When the power usage drops below a certain threshold (indicating the print is done), the system turns them off automatically. Temperature monitoring: I can remotely monitor the temperature and control the heating from anywhere. One piece of advice: if you're planning to build a system using Shelly, start by sketching out your setup. Then test it thoroughly before putting it into full use. You're working with real power (240V or 120V), so safety is essential. As we say in Flemish, quoting the poet Guido Gezelle: "Denk aleer ge doende zijt, en doende, denk dan nog." Translation: "Think before doing, and while doing, think again."

I got over 60 different brands IOT devices and Shelly ones are the most reliable and better configurable. They are easily integrated into Home Assistant, Google and Alexa. Accuracy of the PM an 2.5 with the covers is the best. Also the scripting gave me more possibilities I had not in mind. Had a couple of issues but quickly answered by the support team, giving a good solution even out of warranty period. 10/10 rate from me.

Die App ist zwar sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig für einen Einsteiger, was aber sicherlich auch an den umfangreichen Möglichkeiten liegt, die sie bietet. Dafür ist allerdings der Support, der bei Problemen mit Rat zur Seite steht, äußerst schnell und zuverlässig! Mein Problem wurde nach der ersten Anfrage gelöst. Vielen Dank dafür 👍

Initially already really happy with their products (I have a few bulbs and plugs), but when one of the bulb broke they got back to me within an hour of sending the support ticket, and after I provided the information they asked sent me vouchers that covered a new one and free shipping soon after. Everything was solved within a day!
