Bought this shower cap because I wanted to stop using plastic disposable ones. I thought given the price point and what was said about it it would be good quality and long lasting. That was not the case at all! Within a couple of months the gathered part at the back started to smell mouldy despite me hand washing it weekly and putting it in the machine. I emailed customer service to ask if I was doing anything wrong and their response was incredibly unhelpful as they told me to do exactly what I said I had been doing. It didn't even seem like they read my email properly, they just sent me a template response. I emailed them back letting them know they were unhelpful as I was already doing what they suggested and they advised soaking it and using vinegar before putting it in the machine and out in the sun to dry. This worked once but the results were very short lived. On top of this, the elastic has gone so it is now too big for me. An absolute WASTE of money. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Item not shipped after a month of waiting and several follow ups with their team who promised it would be shipped by X date (didn’t happen) Take a look at their social media, they’re very quick to delete comments but don’t bother to actually ship items that people have paid for months after purchase. Have made a PayPal claim as they’ve now blocked me on social media and aren’t responding to emails for a refund.

I asked my boyfriend to get me one of these for my Christmas present last year, a decision which I now regret. He placed the order on 2nd December and it has still not arrived (2 months later). He has followed-up by emailing their customer service team and received no response but an automated email. I did the same, and 2 weeks after I sent that email, after messaging them on Instagram I received a response that it has arrived in the UK (on 6th January) so the order is fulfilled on their side and I should contact the courier for more information. As most will have experienced, the courier, UPS, advise that I should contact the merchant, so I am going in circles here, with extremely long delay on any response from Shhhowercap company. I assume that the item is likely lost in shipping, and will be requesting a refund. Really dissapointed, its the last time I will order something that I have been advertised on Instagram. I understand they are a new(is)h formed company (2017), but they should not have scaled up their marketing efforts to the level I saw, if they did not have the operations and customer service resources to be able to fulfill orders from that. That is how to run a business 101. So I can't comment on the quality of product as never received. Would suggest anyone still looking to purchase a hat to use Amazon and not go direct to the Company. Still probably a risk that it will not arrive.

I’m having a terrible experience too. Ordered two weeks ago, gift for a family member, they took my money and item still not shipped. They won’t answer my numerous emails asking what’s up. Don’t waste your time with this company.

An all-round customer service nightmare. Unresponsive, presumptuous at best and negligent, incompetent and customer-second at worst. My experience with Shhhowercap has been downright awful. A month and 6 emails later having ordered a cap for my wife at Christmas I am out of pocket with no cap and left with 1 dismissive response - "not our problem". Clearly not giving my business to them again.
