Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. As a new business still in our early stages (we just launched Sept 30th), we’re simultaneously developing new processes and learning as we go. This feedback helps our team identify blind spots with a focus on improving the customer experience. You’re right about the timing of our review request - it didn't make sense to ask for feedback before you've had a chance to properly wear and experience the product. We pushed back requesting feedback to a week post delivery to give time for customers to get a full feel for the product, including post-usage removal.
Designer nails for men is a novel idea, and clippers are a key tool as most men will want to trim their nails to the same length as their natural nail. We'll be upgrading to a clipper that is wider as part of our Winter '26 drop. Having it in every kit is one that we've debated as a team. As we grow we'll give customers options on if they want to get more than 1 tool as we don't know if multiple sets will be for the same customer or given out as gifts.
The emails were overly excessive and upon review we found overlapping email flows existed. We've adjusted our flow with a focus on providing service to communicate messages such as tracking updates, fit tips, or product care as part of the post-purchase experience, instead of up-selling. We never want our enthusiasm to feel like noise, and we certainly overdid it.
Regarding packaging, I'm going for a premium look and feel with Talons, and recognize it may not be the most important part of the experience to all, while it plays a larger role with others. Men need more things to feel excited about, and that's the experience I've aimed for with it.
Thank you again for your purchase of Talons and sharing your experience thus far. You have our commitment to continue to improve, and with that, we would love to hear more from you after you have had more time with Talons.
