I agree with the negative comments about this company being shady!! I didn’t recall doing the subscription, and when try to cancel the subscription, it is almost impossible. Took exactly 41 minuted to get a representative over the phone because I can't cancel the subscription because the one item has to be left and can't be removed! After speaking with the rep about it, I was told it's removed, and yet that one item out of two items under subscription is still there!? I tried using the chat online and it took forever and I just closed out the window because no one ever came on. I am returning all items since is within the 60 day to get refunds, and my husband and I do not see results from using it.

unauthorized charge to refill a subscription I never ordered or agreed to - when I called they tried to get me to keep the product. When I declined they waived the last payment installment (I was going to be charged $47.46 for the next 3 months). When I declined that and asked for a refund, they suddenly were able to refund another payment installment. All really suspicious and definitely don't trust this platform.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Do NOT buy anything. They will claim you signed up for a subscription service even if you didn’t. They FINALLY allowed me to cancel but when I shipped back the unwanted order (at my own expense), they still charged me $30+ to cancel. A complete rip-off!

Product was ineffective. We canceled and recieved a confirmation of our cancellation and they still continue to charge your account month after month.

This company is a scam just like many you see on social media. I chose a one time purchase and then they auto enroll you in an auto payment service. I had to go searching on their website, after creating an account, to figure out how to cancel my subscription that they automatically enrolled me in… they are also not transparent about how they charge you… you get charged monthly, broken down payments of $29+… which actually was the red flag for me, as I had no idea why I was repeatedly getting charges. BAD BUSINESS PRWCTUCE IF AUTI ENROLLING CUSTOMERS INTO A SUBSCRIPTION THEY DIDNT AGREE TO. -5 STARS IF I COULD!

I never ordered this product and now get auto shipments. Their customer service is almost impossible to reach. They send shipments and you must then ship it back at your own expense. The refund doesn't come so then you have to miraculously contact customer service again.

BEWARE: Average product, DELIBERATELY SNEAKY & DECEPTIVE company practices! I'm echoing the same terrible experience that was had by others. I too bought an inexpensive two-pack of whitening gel to try out the product and afterward was automatically signed up for a $98 full size of the product, billed in increments every month going forward. After the first unanticipated charge, I went to the site and signed up for an account to freeze my subscription (which turned out to be incredibly sneakily tacked on to my initial order using tiny type on the last payment screen) and even got a confirmation email that the subscription was paused. They justified continuing to charge me every month however, by calling the remaining charges an outstanding balance that I owed from the initial subscription. This of course was based on their own fabricated drawn out payment plan for a product I never officially ordered to begin with. After zero ability to connect with their customer service (online or by phone) I contacted PayPal, which I had used for my initial order, and they were able to block the company's further charges, and issue a refund for the two fraudulent payments. Thank goodness for PayPal and their buyer protection practices, because I can't imagine how many people this company is bleeding dry. Also, when I went to Instagram just now to leave similar feedback and warn people off buying from them, I noticed most of their comments on their posts have been muted! Not deleted, because they show a count beneath the picture, but gone when you click on them. Doesn't take a genius to guess why.

Smileactives is a SHADY company. Very deceptive ordering and subscription details. You genuinely have no idea what you're being signed up for when you make that first purchase. Then, you have to make sure to return the product at your expense in order to stop getting charged the monthly portion of the purchase. You have to watch these people like a hawk and prepare to dispute charges with your credit card.
