NICE people but the platform is a mess. For the month I used it, posting onto instagram didnt work. I also paid more than €400 for 1 month of a concierge service and was not impressed with the quality of work and very poor communication skills.

When SocialBee's scheduled posts went through to our platforms, link thumbnails would always mess up and not show images correctly, which made us look unprofessional. Also, SocialBee functions off a wide array of less-than-helpful AI features that dominate the workspace, making scheduling more confusing and complicated than it needs to be. (And with everything coming out now about the environmental/social tolls of AI usage, seeing AI this heavily used on our vendor platform has begun to feel more concerning and ethically gray.) Wish this was the scheduler for us, but it just hasn't turned out to be.

No Refunds (but they will fix if you ask) and a fragile system. We have been running Socialbee for over a year. First 6 to 8 months were good. But then we noticed that socialbee had stopped posting in many of the timeslots. The problem is that if a single post in a queue has a problem then the whole queue will stall stopping that timeslot or slots. And there is no indication which post within the category has the problem. You have to check them all and fiddle with the setting and hope it fixes the problem. When writing the posts any problems are clearly marked as you go. But a problem later after everything looks ok and you click CONFIRM is not flagged at all. If the system highlighted a category that was not posting and the one post in the queue that was the problem then it would be quick and easy. Clearly their system can recognize posts with a problem and stop the category from posting in its timeslot - why not make the information clear to the user - turn the category red and the post red or something like that. If you set up Socialbee, set it up as simple as possible with a minimum number of categories - only pay by the month - not the year or you lose your money - there are no refunds. Social bee has a good mix of affordability and access to a good number of social media channels. As I've spent hours on this trying to work out where the problems were. In the end I gave up. And then found out about the NO REFUND policy. On the face of it they are strict no refund, but if you strongly request they will downgrade you to monthly and close the account at the end of the month - much more civilised than their original statement in an email. Don't pay for a year unless you are really sure it is working for you.

They do not send a reminder when your account is going to renew like any other reputable software company I have worked with. I actually received an email after our account had renewed. When I received this, I asked for a refund as we did not want to renew our account. Their policy states that you cannot get a refund on a renewal. Seems unprofessional to not send a renewal notice. Are they afraid that people would cancel if they knew it was time to renew? Stand behind the value of your work. Don't hide behind 3 pages of a privacy policy.

1/3/2024 Update: The team reached out to me and gave my my refund, which I really appreciated. 12/20/2023 Not intuitive. The content created by the onboarding team and the social media pilot was very generic and showed it didn't really understand our business. Wayyy too much work to repurpose content. In addition, when I asked for my refund, they did not grant it. Instead they asked how they could improve. Complete bush league stuff here.

I haven't been able to login to my account for 2 days. Sent an email to the company because I can't send a support ticket (need to be logged in for that). No response. In the meantime my account is autoposting old stuff to my social media accounts and I can't log in and change that because I can't get in to my account.
