Our 3.5" cast iron waste pipe from an upstairs bathroom cracked along its whole length. The plumber replaced it with PVC saying that cast iron was too expensive. But it was noisier. The Soundproof Cow foam and vinyl pipe wrap fit in the small space and clearly reduced the noise!

I installed the Quiet Batt above my drop ceiling. I only noticed some sound reduction, but nothing that made the material seem 'high-performance'. I still hear the same sounds upstairs, now it sounds a bit muffled. I may need to add a second layer.

I needed to get some sound proofing on some loud pipes before the contractor closed the walls up. I ordered 3 rolls of the Quietwrap, with expedited shipping. I got it in two days. The 3" wide tape was easy to apply (4" PVC waste pipes), and the sound is much less noticeable.

I work on first floor and sound from employees on 2nd floor were driving me crazy everyday. Since I ordered the Quiet Barrier MD Soundproofing Material Sheet I almost don't them at all. I cant even hear the squeaking of the ceiling above me. Thank you Soundproof Cow for saving my sanity.

Packing peanuts or a horse blanket would work better than this. This is an amateur product at best , I can't think of any application it would be good for.
