This is my second time taking Spanish in an online format. My first was with another school, of which I had a great experience. What was supposed to be a small break turned into 5 years .... with no conversation practice. When deciding to return to Spanish, I elected to try a different school this time. Luckily, my search led me to Spanish55. My teacher, Oscar, is just a wonderful and fun person to work with. Our lessons are focused and relaxed. He is patient and is good at figuring out what I am trying to express. One thing that I like about the study materials that are used, are the audio exercises. The last school I worked with did not have this feature. I log in regularly to work on listening. I also like that there is an emphasis on conversation, but with structured grammar lessons to go with the conversation. Spanish55 is willing to work with you to figure out how to make lessons fit within busy schedules.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for- a dedicated Spanish speaking person to speak to me in spanish and to tailor the sessions to what I was interested in and needed. The platform offers so many ways to engage students- games, workbooks, general conversation, etc and Coach Laura is so great. I am enjoying it tremendously and can't imagine there is a better online tutor service in Spanish out there.

Compared to generic tutoring platforms — where you may not work with the same tutor consistently, or have any guarantee that person actually has experience with language instruction — Spanish55's pricing is excellent. I haven't found better. Some key points that make Spanish55 stand out: * On-demand control of your schedule via the scheduling tool. One piece of feedback: it would help to be able to "set" my tutor as a default, so I don't have to search for her each time I want to schedule a lesson — but this is a minor point. * All sessions via Teams — a clear, documented process with no connection issues. * You are assigned a single tutor for all sessions. This is important — you and your tutor get to know each other and establish a rapport, which is helpful for ongoing progress. * Flexibility to learn how you want, with guidance from a language expert, plus access to digital learning materials — which has been great. * Amazing and responsive customer support — whether it's questions, scheduling adjustments, or anything else, I have only had positive interactions. If you want to learn Spanish and are a serious learner, I highly recommend Spanish55!

For many years, I’ve found myself using apps such as Duolingo and others to learn Spanish. I would say to myself often that I wanted to really get serious about learning another language. I did some research and found many online options but ultimately chose to give Spanish55 a try. I liked that they have real tutors that live in Spanish speaking countries. I appreciate the authenticity this brings to my learning experience. I also chose them because I felt their prices were reasonable. I was lucky to be paired with an excellent coach, Leslie. Since starting this journey 6 months ago, I look forward to meeting with her twice a week. Scheduling my classes online are very easy and I’ve always had great support from their online student success team. Leslie is very flexible with my scheduling needs. If you’re looking to up your game speaking Spanish, I recommend giving them a try. I like the accountability and how they tailor my learning experience specifically for me. I am in the healthcare business and Leslie has been able to teach me the foundations of Spanish while simultaneously helping me communicate with my patients. I cannot explain how learning Spanish has changed the way my brain works. I look at people around me differently and ask questions I never knew needed asking. There is no putting a price on that. Although I have not had my first "real" lesson yet, I am very impressed with Spanishg55. My trial lesson with Luis was great. Abe was wonderful in making sure I was prepared. He was also available to answer all my questions afterwards. I look forward to getting started with Luis this week. I have been an educator for 30+ years and so far, I think I have picked a sound program. So far, the organizers have been very accessible - - and they are real, live people!!

I've been learning spanish through Spanish55 for about three months now and I have nothing but great reviews for this website! It was super easy to navigate and in the early stages of getting familiar with this program there was plenty of support from their team! I've been working with Coach Michelle who is very qualified and knowledgeable with teaching a new language. I've gone through several language classes in the past for various languages but Spanish55 stands out to me because of their course structure which I've found to be one of the best for learning a new language. Despite not having many relatives or friends that speak spanish, I make great progress working with my coach through the exercises and textbook, and feel confident in this journey of learning a new language!

I do three, one hour classes a week with my tutor, and I've seen a massive jump in my ability to speak and comprehend Spanish over the last 5 months. My tutor is truly the best, native Spanish speakers compliment me on pronunciation (this is why we do it), I'm way more confident to start up conversations outside of class, and its really doble if you're serious about learning. Expensive for casual learning, yes. But for me, it's an investment for my career/lifestyle and its well worth it. Another very important point I gotta make is how responsive and helpful the admin and support team is when you need help booking, cancelling, or just notifying your tutor. 11/10

This is an excellent service! The value of the instruction is superb! I have made more progress with Spanish55 that I have with any other type of language instruction. The instructors and the staff care about my success and have the background knowledge in Spanish and in TEACHING Spanish that allows then to be maleable around each students learning style and goals. This is the place!
