This company is the most predatory unreliable establishment I have ever had the misfortune to do business (and that word is laughable) with. Everytime there was an issue they wanted me to troubleshoot "I do not have an hourly emplyment rate with you". I could never get sign into the online account but they kept charging me for paper invoices. When I said I was going to stop the payments until I had access, suddenly they figured it out. If there was a ZERO rating they would get it.

I inherited this company after I paid off my solar off with original company. I have been begging for months via phone, email, any means to get someone to see why system is not producing. Excuse after false promise after excuse and so on and nothing fixed. Can't get anyone to even check the system. Should be illegal to operate companies in this fashion.

I have 5 broken panels and have been trying for eight months to get someone out to my house and even look at them. Case #SYS0041868 To say that I am unhappy with your customer service is a vast understatement. I have asked them to call me but no response. 951-775-0069 call me anytime. 3 days later. Still no contact. If i could give you negative stars I would.

A Solar agent came to my client's house and told her they would activate solar panels that were already there for free. Now, she is being billed $400 for the service. The company that set up the system did it incorrectly and the solar service does not work. When I called Spruce Power they said they have a signed contract. There is no record of any contract with her or with the HOA, and the guy who scammed her is no where to be found.

I'm certain all of these negative reviews are actually true. My system worked fine for over 15 years with no problems and now it is having problems and Spruce literally has the absolute worst customer service of any company I have had to deal with. After 3 months and numerous lies and avoidance they finally sent a repair technician and he told me...that my system has a problem. Wow, like I didn't know that with a system with no production for 3 months of run arounds and BS from Spruce. Its now been over a week after that visit and I have not heard a word, no call, no E-mail on the repair status. When they kept lying to me on the phone about receiving pictures of my system I posted those pictures on Google reviews and I did a negative review proving they were lying on Google maps which is literally getting hundreds of hits. Today I saw this link and came here to find all of the people in these comments with negative reviews are actually telling the truth. I'm going to call Spruce and the repair company again right now and try for a little while longer to get the repairs they owe me completed and then I will use all of this negative data to pursue legal action and have the inoperative system completely removed from my house and replaced with a new one. Spruce is a perfect example of a dishonest company with a clear reputation for fraud. The many negative reviews and my personal experience prove it.

2 months ago I left a positive review re: the cust. svc. interaction, which was great; however, I am now critiquing the actual company. Terrible, horrible and frustrating experience with receiving either a refund or credit for a broken inverter- non-working since November (confirmed by PSEG), which caused crazy high bills from PSEG. I've been fighting with them since March; sent them ALL info required: (12 months bills fm PSEG, ALL pages), numerous pics of their equipment, completed their forms, etc); also followed up via phone, email and texts. Got nowhere. Even threatened legal action, contacting BBB/DOCA, and/or negative reviews with various forums- including their own. They didn't even have the guts to CALL me; just kept emailing me the generic message that "my issue has been resolved "..NO IT HASN'T!! Spruce, if you're reading this, please note that I will be going further until this issue is resolved. P.S.- I left a 1-star review, but if I could, it would be no stars. Absolutely the worst solar company around. My solar inverter stopped working and it took the company 8 months to fix it while I still had to pay the lease payment each month. After all this, Spruce Power refuses to honor my performance guarantee. Do not use them, there are many others who had the same problems with this company. Do your research.

My Solar system with Spruce power has not been working for over 13 months now. Their customer service department is terrible, The Special escalations team is incapable of getting anything done, and their asset operations team is apparently non existent. Over the past year i have made about 25 phone calls to the company and have never been able to reach a supervisor nor has a supervisor EVER called me back. The workers in the SET just feed the company line of "someone will get back to you in 24 to 48 hours", over and over again and NOTHING EVER GETS DONE. Hey do not provide access to any management because they are not "customer facing". Its just terrible. The whole company as based on a system of lies to cover their inability to service their customers.
