When we started SS396.com, a Ground Up Motors company, we had one thing in mind: to bring the best quality restoration parts to everyone, from the weekend driver to the 1000-point restoration. Over the years, we have grown from one person operating out of a garage to our brand new 60,000+ square foot facility in Palm Coast, Florida. Despite our growth, our passion and vision have remained the same: to keep the excitement of classic American muscle running by providing the best parts available, an easy-to-use website, and the best customer support team.
ss396.com (ss396.com) has 532 customer reviews on Folks Told, with an average rating of 4.1 out of 5.

To offer an item, sell it and then in less than 12 hours send an email saying it’s out of stock and now I have to wait 5 to 7 days for a refund to my credit card is bad business. If you’re out of stock you should list it is out of stock not sell it in hopes that the buyer will wait until you fulfill your back order! Will certainly try to find parts everywhere else other than this site from now on.

Hi Jim, We sincerely apologize for the frustration with your recent order. We understand how disappointing it can be to place an order only to find out it’s out of stock. While we don’t currently display live inventory on our site, we’re working on improving this to avoid future issues. We will be expediting your refund, and while we mention 5-7 days, it’s often due to bank processing times, not delays on our end. Thank you for your patience, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve!
