Repair work by Stannah employee was excellent! 5 Stars
Installation good but within a month the "skinny" arms fell apart. I contacted the installer "NO REPY" 3 weeks later left a message on "888" number no reply. Monday 8/3 left a text with pictures to Installer William Cooper, showing the exposed controls requested replacement of original arms , NO RESPONDS I will pay to replace the arms on original order #54569

Dangerous
Dangerous! While at the top of the stairs, the controls are on the farthest arm of the chair. Leaning over the chair, to reach the controls, always makes me feel as if I'm going to fall down the stairs. Plus, several times, while at the top of the stairs, I accidentally pressed the footrest button. Thereafter, my foot slipped down the stairs. Plus, with the the loss of electricity, it is extremely difficult to reach behind the chair to shut it off and stop the beeping. Safety is very questionable -

Defective manufacturing sept30,2025 &sept 27’2025
The lift has stopped working twice. Technician is returning tomorrow to “fix it again”. I demand that you install a new one as soon as possible while we use this “new defective seat” or kindly return my payments. My 93 year old wife has to crawl upstairs on hands and knees

The sales person (Richard) was very…
The sales person (Richard) was very familiar with the product and was able to answer questions that my wife and I had. However he was also a bit "pushy"and did not allow time for any comparison shopping,consequently, I feel that I should have done more research before purchasing this unit. Now about the installer, also had experience ,and got right to the task ,very personable but just a tad inexperienced. For example, he burned several spots in the carpet by laying a hot tool(drill bit) on the carpet. and was about to leave without saying anything, but I saw the burn marks and told him I was not happy about them.

installed a defective chair an they new…
installed a defective chair an they new it. Changed the next day. While exchanging the chair the installer mistakenly took one of the remotes, returned next day.

Ryan drury on a legal document…
Ryan drury on a legal document misspelled my name and asked if it was ok to leave it that way (of course not), then on the next form put down the incorrect amount for the deposit. I am still waiting for the corrected forms and the instruction manual and the tax forms and the answers to my questions. This activity certainly taints one’s appreciation of the Stannah company
