scammer useless streaming site

I was like one day late on canceling my year subscription and they refuse to refund my money. They need a class action lawsuit filed against them!!!!! :/

I had starz for a year on a promotion deal which ended in September 2026. I cancelled my subscription before my trial ended. Which wasn't easy to do I had to reach out to them to ensure my cancelation went through correctly. To which I got an email verifying my subscription was cancelled they kept it active til the 30th of September. While looking at my bank statement today I see they charged me the 69.99 to which I'd like for someone to explain to me. How that happened with me cancelling the subscription before the deadline I did as I was supposed to do. Made sure it was cancelled within the time they specified only for them to charge me anyway. Even worse was how hard it was to reach someone by phone or by chat I did both today several times. Do to it automatically hanging up on you after they fail to respond in their time frame given. Then they say someone will reach out by email I can only imagine the number of ppl calling in. Do to them screwing up ppls account like they did mines for no good reason. Then the nerve to tell me it'll take seven days to correct that isn't okay at all while they act like they doing me a favor. They aren't shouldn't get it confused I want my money back right now this was their error and I shouldn't have been charged at all. Crazy thing is they wouldn't have corrected their error had I not caught it ir would of been on my. They aren't worth 69.99 no day of the week.

Beware of having to use the chat! All around horrible experience, can't recommend.

They charge for unknow subscription renewals without any prior notice. You can not speak with a live person. Everything is handled by AI Bots by email or online chat. Trying to get help with a problem is useless. Never let them get access to your credit card or PayPal.

I canceled my Starz streaming service. I received an email confirmation that it was canceled, but they keep trying to charge me even after canceling the service. Unethical Behavior

I signed up a year ago with their platform only to find out the one show I liked was canceled after the 3rd season, which resulted in me using their service for less than 3 months. One year later, they auto renew my account without a reminder that the auto renew was coming, debiting almost $80 without a warning. They denied me the opportunity to cancel a sub I forgot I even had. When I canceled the sub and asked for a refund that same day, they approved the request and refunded my money but then canceled the refund, thus preventing it to go through, without even notifying me they were cancelling the refund. They are shady and the platform essentially has nothing entertaining to offer anyway. Haven't watched Starz in over 9 months and never will again.

My rating is zero.hands down the worst streaming app. It literally took me years to remember to cancel it because it was that forgettable like their movie catalog.
