Although the online ordering was very easy and straight forward, the reason for the 2 stars is that the shipping of the product seems to takes forever. I placed the order on 8/14/19 and as of today 8/19/19 the order is still marked as "awaiting shipping". This seems very slow compared to what we're used to from other companies.

Thanks so much Hal for your business and for making time to share this review with us. I guess we need to start with the positive, which is the easy and straight forward ordering process. Thank you for the compliment and for sharing that! Let me dive right into the issue you raised about the shipping delay of your order. Someone should have communicated with you about this right away, and that is definitely an area for improvement. Point taken and noted. You've ordered a DNA stain that must be shipped cold. Our manufacturing partner is located on the East Coast and you're on the West Coast. The order was placed at 4:44PM EST on Wednesday the 14th, just before closing time, so it would have been processed on Thursday and sent to the manufacturer for fulfillment. I've confirmed we did submit the order on Thursday. It must be that the manufacturer opted to wait till today to send the order to be sure someone would be present to receive it and put it into a -20 immediately. The manufacturer has confirmed the order IS shipping today and should be in your hands tomorrow. Obviously there is no way for you to have known this was coming from the East Coast, otherwise you would probably have opted for expedited shipping instead of the free shipping option. I hope this helps clear things up Hal, and I do appreciate the opportunity for us to do a better job next time letting you (and other shoppers know) that cold orders placed towards end of the week, unless expedited shipping is purchased, will usually go out on Monday the following week.
