Horrible horrible horrible. I have two WXM5’s and they both broke within a year. Contacted Sony and all they were willing to do was tell us we could send it to a repair service for $150+ tax and shipping. No accountability for their terrible hardware. Will not be buying from them ever again.

I’ve had several issues with Sony’s customer service. Namely it is nearly impossible to talk to a real person. It’s a labyrinth of being redirected to online chatbots and being given the same answers which do not help. Also I paid ($200) for PlayStation plus subscription in September and by October they told me I no longer had access to PlayStation plus and to purchase it again! Safe to say I will be selling my PlayStation and getting an Xbox!

All these corporations have lost the vision and have been blinded by greed. They constantly find new ways to screw over their customers and have 0 remorse in doing so, and in most cases double down. There's a special place in H E double hockey sticks for these people. I hope they wake up in puddles of pee and their children abandon them when they can no longer care for themselves. Hatte vor ca. 1 Jahr einen LCD Ferseher in Eugendorf gekauft , es funktioniert der HdMI Anschluss überhaupt nicht von meinem handelsüblichen Moviclup K220 , es wurde danach gesagt es gibt eine reperatur die Reperatur ist 2 mal nicht geglückt das Gerät funktioniert trotzdem mit dem HDMI Anschluß von meiner Muvicup nicht wurde auch von einem Techniker von Sony überprüft er konnte bestätigen fas diese Serie 40x80l nicht einwandfrei funktioniert Sony will Österreich wiĺl sich jetzt Abputzen und gibt den Madiaplayer die Schuld und kommt auf einmal azf die ideee das es nicht Handelsüblich ist das Gerät . Das Gerät wurde 2010 von der Filma Emtec produziert u d funktioniert mit jedem ahdmi am Gerät. Sony bestreitet das . Jetzt hat mein Anwalt das tema und wir weitergeleitet

I bought a premium Sony Bravia Master Series TV, and it had software and update issues starting from day one. I called Sony Support and they thought it might be the remote so they sent me new one. I wasn't able to program the new remote even with Sony Support so they said I should just manually update the software of the TV because the TV wasn't updating automatically, although it should have. I was told to buy a brand new memory stick to download the update from their website. Which I did, and we updated the tv. This happened time and again. Instead of escalating the issue or offering to replace the tv while it was under warranty, Sony support told me each time that "This time it should be fixed". They even remote accessed the TV to adjust the settings. Sony Support kept me trapped in a continuous loop of front-line troubleshooting for years until the warranty period expired. Now, the TV has suffered a hardware failure in under five years! The Sony Executive Escalation Team's official response is that they no longer stock the replacement part. They told me to source the part myself on the open market and pay a third party to fix it. When you buy a premium product, you expect premium support. A TV should be plugged in and ready to play. Sony failed at every level, customer support, customer service and standing behind their Bravia products, I wish i had seen this kind of review before buying the Sony. Buyer beware.

absolutely horrible company. warning, do not buy! I paid $500 for this console, I downloaded some of the games for it and after that at some point my credit card was compromised or my account was hacked. Sony decided that they were going to close my account and they have me hostage now where I can't even use the PlayStation 5. they have me locked out. they demanded $111 in blood money. I paid the money and they still can't activate my account again. I've spent way way too much time trying to straighten this out when they don't seem to care. it's impossible to talk to a live person on the phone. I mean that quite literally. I've spent days trying to figure out how to actually talk to somebody on the phone and it's impossible. the chat bots want my old credit card number from when it was hacked months ago. I don't have that information anymore because obviously, I already replaced the card 2 months ago. I told them that I can provide all the information from the console, my name, date of birth, phone number, mother's maiden name, so security number, and everything under the sun and that's still not good enough for them to turn on a stupid gaming system. I mean, we're not even talking about something like a bank or something that actually matters in life. we're talking about a game so my son can continue to play his games. Sony took that from him and they will not give it back! I refuse to buy anything from Sony ever again! I can see from the reviews, the large majority of their customers hate them. worst customer service on the planet by far. ripoff company

Ich habe den Sony Bravia XR-77A80K am 15.03.2023 für € 2.555,- gekauft. Nach 3Jahren zunächst eine vertikale weiße Linie, kurz darauf kompletter Totalausfall. Laut autorisiertem Sony-Servicepartner ist das Display defekt – und für dieses Modell ist kein Ersatzdisplay verfügbar. Als Lösung wurde mir ein Austauschgerät für rund 2.300 Euro (plus Transportkosten) angeboten. Ich habe Sony um eine faire Kulanzlösung gebeten. Trotz des hohen Kaufpreises, des frühen Totalausfalls und der fehlenden Reparaturmöglichkeit wurde mein Anliegen letztlich abgelehnt. Für mich ist das bei einem Fernseher dieser Preisklasse kein akzeptables Ergebnis. Premiumpreis und Premiumanspruch passen hier leider nicht zur Haltbarkeit und zum Umgang mit dem Kunden.
