Until now Strategists have had to learn through apprenticeship (and needed to be lucky enough to land the job first), but thanks to Strategy Finishing School you can teach yourself step-by-step with this world class program. Julian and co make complex ideas simple and clearly illustrate every principle with worked examples and downloadable templates. This online resource is a treasure trove! Useful to people at every stage of their career.

Absolute game changer no matter your level. Huge variety of topics, strong mix of lessons, templates, case studies and more. Julian is incredibly generous with his time for members, and is continually adding more to the site.

Strategy finishing school is wealth of resources and information to build your strategy capabilities. The quality of content goes beyond a lot of typical strategy resources and shows the dedication of the authors to furthering the discipline.

There are a plethora of Training resources within our Industry - good, bad and ugly. The Strategy Finishing School however is great. It caters for all levels, and all learning styles - a structured class-by-class graduation, or a dip in, dip out wealth of useful tools and frameworks. I flirted with the investment in becoming a member for far too long, now I use the system religiously. Julian and the community are incredibly open and transparent with real-world problems and practical advice and solutions. Highly recommend.

I've always struggled as a strategist to find the resources to learn more about the job, other than learning from mentors or learning on the job (Even though the feedback wasn't always laid out concretely), as a strategist you have to start from scratch. I even remember the day I interviewed for my first job in strategy, googled it and found almost nothing useful. This is all to say that Strategy Finishing School has been a breath of fresh air and a concrete way to shape my ideas, be more structured at my job and most importantly grow, learn and understand how to get better at what I do. Would totally recommend for young, mid level and seasoned strategists.

Really thorough course. Allowed someone who had been working in account management for the majority of my career to gain the confidence to transfer into strategy without on-the/job training. The amount of content and resources that you can use is also really beneficial! Definitely would recommend!

Every time I log in to Strategy Finishing School, I wind up feeling more prepared and more confident. I have a Ph.D. in sociology; and Julian's course is far times more useful in terms of practical knowledge and confidence boosting. Having someone finally articulate a clear point of view on how to do strategy is like getting handed a cheat code for our industry. After I started engaging with Julian's material, I rapidly went from Strategist, to Senior Strategist, to Associate Strat Director in the span of about a year – with full Director on the near horizon. If you're wondering if it's worth it, wonder no more.
