At Stress Free German, we use powerful techniques to implant the language in your mind with ease. One of the biggest sticking points for students is dealing with German's three noun genders. But what if you could simply see the gender? In SFG, we show you images where all the elements are of one gender. See the picture in your mind, and you'll always recall the gender. Very simple. Very powerful. But the course goes far beyond merely mastering Der Die and Das. With Stress Free German you'll master German's complex case system. Again, there's a better way to approach it than simply trying to memorize the rules. Instead, we point out the patterns behind the grammar. Seeing the pattern, you'll figure out the rules yourself. This is known as Pattern Recognition.By featuring engaging lessons, multiple native German speakers, downloadable audios and PDFs, SFG is the perfect course to turn you into a confident, conversational German speaker.

Stress free German is unlike any other language learning platform. This course gives you the literal translation of almost everything which helps with understanding and application in conversation. I feel that I have a good base now and will continue with stress free German to become more fluent.

I’ve studied German before, and one of the things I struggled with was keeping track of the gender of things then I stumbled upon stress free German, and they have a masterful approach to this, They use images to fix gender in your mind. That along with a skillful use of repetition and clever vocabulary building makes stress free German the best language learning source I’ve encountered so far.

I finished the 1st volume of lessons & found them to be v well structured & enjoyable (stress-free!). But the main take-away for me is that certain areas of grammar which are tricky are explained clearly, & naturally (i.e. no tables or matrices). Several times I had "Eureka" moments - "Ah - now I get it!", which made it easier to internalise & (crucially) remember it. These moments did not come from any of the other on-line language courses I have used. I will be going forward with the other Volumes. Thank you SFG, yours is the best programme I've found.

I did volume 1 and it's very easy to consume. I take 1 +/- 20min episode with me on my walks. The material and the teaching method is new to me but it works for me. Visuals and explanations were clear and easy to follow. It's more on understanding than memorization. I plan to get the next volumes.

I would highly recommend Stress Free German. The first 20 episodes are available for free, with additional volumes available for purchase. It has made a huge difference for me in mastering some of the parts of German grammar that I just wasn’t getting, even though I was taking a well-regarded German course online and working with a tutor. The approach is quite different, and I found the emphasis on visuals and working with phrases to be really helpful. Five stars!

Great way to learn German for beginners. It focuses on sentence construction and what to do with the supporting words depending on the gender of the noun. Really good system of teaching and getting you to work out and speak different sentences using different combinations of pronouns / verbs / nouns. I tried duolingo and various books first but found this podcast so much more useful. I'll be signing up for volumes 2 & 3!

I have just completed the first volume of SFG (that has been generously provided for free). I am really impressed by the quality of the teaching method. I have been learning german on and off for a few years and have tried several different approaches including teach yourself style books, podcasts, audiobooks, YouTube videos, listening to german music, watching german movies, classroom courses, and even trying to learn from my german girlfriend. Still, a lot of the grammatical concepts were very confusing to me and therefore I never felt confident in my speaking. I think SFG has masterfully clarified the fundamentals of german grammar seamlessly where other methods have fallen short. The episodes are addictive and I feel like I am internalizing the content organically rather than trying to force myself to memorize a plethora of abstract rules. The teaching approach is sensible and feels like being coached in german rather than being instructed or lectured. Thank you for the great work in developing these courses! I am looking forward to continuing with the following volumes!
