I really enjoyed my time at summer discovery at UC Berkeley in July so much. It was amazing meeting new people from across the world and the resident counselors were incredibly kind and made the entire two weeks super fun. I feel like I have learned a lot about medicine there especially the different systems of the body. The professors were super kind and amazing at teaching. (Riya & Esther were the best!!) I feel like besides learning so much in the program I chose, I feel like I also learned how to be a bit more independent. Overall. I think I grew as a person entirely during my stay and would recommend this program to everyone!

Very very average educational experience. Not challenging. Food was really very bad too unfortunately

I had a lot of fun at the Dartmouth campus, and it was super fun going canoeing and exploring Hanover. The classes were great too.

Staff was way too strict, horrible experience. I had a way better experience at another summer camp the year prior so there is no excuse for the staff being as strict at all. (Could not leave our building at 9 pm)

The great teachers made the learning experience wonderful and as for the college experience aspect my RC did a great job supporting me along the way. Dan, the head of my program, did a great job organizing afternoon activities to make sure no one was left out and create cohesiveness. Overall I was very pleased with my experience and look forward to completing another Summer Discovery activity in the future.

My daughter did the Medical Academy at Berkeley. Ms. Mary Anne, the director, was the absolute best. From the moment we dropped our kiddos off she was there to answer any questions and quell any fears that any of us parents had. My daughter had the time of her life. There was the perfect mixture of academics and fun for them. I love that they gave the kids some independence, but with guidance and strict rules. My daughter has really blossomed as a result of this program. I would recommend Summer Discovery to anyone. It is a great program.
