Sun communities should not even exist. I say that because they rip off their tenants, treat them like crap. Like, for example, to try there damn well hardest to scam the residence out of more money.. the community manager even blamed me for letting my dog run around the community freely which is not even the truth.. when I asked her what day and time this was that my dog did this, she could not even answer that question..she got so mad at me, she even threatened to call animal control on my dog, not even caring that my dog is my emotional support animal.. the bullshit part is they target older homes. in the communities so they can replace them for new ones to profit themselves. Would not recommend being a part of some communities whatsoever… my wife and I have disabilities and sun Community still treats us like crap. to the point I cannot even sleep properly…. They used to have a comment section on the community page, but once the community manager in the office saw that they’re tenants were comparing water bill prices, they immediately took off the comment section, so nobody can communicate with each other for anything at all.. not even if people need help.. yes they have maintenance, but they don’t do anything not even the basic and easy stuff..

I wish I would’ve went with a different option before moving here and hopefully I can leave after 1 year. Each time you call the leasing office the manager never is available . The person at the office lies and says she’s in a meeting, a conference call nothing. All day long loud music loud cars disgusting yards she allows anyone to move here. Before Sun took over this was an amazing trailer park. It was quiet it was clean and if you did have a compliant the leasing office took over. I’m hoping to make my exit in April of next year cause I want out now! The fact that this is a recurring issue with this company and looking at the complaints they don’t give a damn. Corporate greed at its finest. So messed up that evil people always get away with being evil.

I've been here almost 5 months management has picked on me I do nothing but go to work come home walk my dog I don't bother nobody I had a medical emergency called 911 police came maintenance called office and said the police was here without asking me why they were here she is now giving me an eviction notice and now is trying to say that the picture I showed her of the RV that she approved because my RV is older than 10 years old that this is not the same trailer which at 100% is those are her grounds for eviction try calling corporate to speak to somebody because on the eviction letter she didn't even put the reason for eviction and I didn't know why I was giving this letter and nobody yet responded back to me management really sucks maintenance guy drives around on the golf cart intoxicated as well as his wife which was an office employee my neighbor asked us to call 911 for him ambulance and police were here he spent four days in the hospital and came home to an eviction letter they didn't ask him why or anything then the maintenance guy tries to intimidate my boyfriend and then lies to the management about what was said horrible and now they're trying to evict me but I'm not going down without a fight this is at the Arlington Texas location treetop RV

Sun Communities are horrible! I lived in a park where I owned the house and paid lot rent. I paid my first year’s lot rent in advance and every other year six months in advance. This year I paid three months in advance, but Social Security made two errors in my benefits which I explained to Sun’s management. I paid my lot rent four days late including late fees and they chose to evict me anyway. I paid into the the court and still Sun proceeded with the eviction. They gave me a three day eviction over a holiday weekend so I had no chance to get a moving company. After I got movers they gave me 1 hour to empty a two bedroom house. Several HOA board members tried to intercede with Sun to stop the eviction but were rudely denied. All amenities have broken down at one time or another repeatedly and Sun took their sweet time fixing them. We didn’t have a pool for over nine months and residents were told many excuses and rudely told to stop complaining. Sun’s manager at that time was very nasty to the residents and stole new chairs and a loveseat from the pool area and put them in her backyard. Finally she embezzled too much and was fired. The new manager is no better. This park was initially family owned and a great place to live. Sun took over and everything changed for the worse.

This company is the absolute worst!!! They do not work with you on payments. They add on all kinds of fees just to make a monthly payment. They need investigated.

Having resided in other communities, including Spruce Creek North and Oak Run, I can confidently state that Amy is the most honest and dedicated manager with whom I have had the pleasure of working. She is consistently proactive, helpful, and unfailingly professional. Amy’s dedication to her role exemplifies the highest standards of resident service. Discipline their children. I reside in Sun Communities mobile home park (West Village Estates, in Romulus, MI. I had an incident with a resident out here about 2 weeks ago; I was driving down Laramie Dr and approached a small child riding her bike in the street coming toward me. When I approached the corner to make a turn, she wouldn't move. I honked my horn but she would not move! A man came from the house and told me to go around her! I had no other choice but to go around the child. I had to make a wide turn to do this. Thank God, there was no other car coming from the opposite direction. I didn't report it to the office because they do not followup on any incidents that I have ever reported to them. Also, I have noticed numerous new fences being erected out here. When I inquired from the office manager if I could have a fence installed, I was told no! Every day, there are fences being erected with apparently no problem. I brought the matter to the office manager and even gave her some addresses of residents that own fences;she never responded to me. Also, I was jumped on by a neighbor's german shepherd. Luckily he was friendly and didn't try to bite me. We were head-to-head facing each other. I had to back up againt my car to avoid falling backwards on the ground. I was not aware that pets can run rampant out here,

0 stars if I could, honestly they are the horrible, you can't speak to anyone always goes to voicemails, no one calls you back. Useless mangers that sit and do nothing and give excuses as to why what they said they are going to never gets done. Would never recommend anyone to purchase a home through sun Communities
