I moved to Ottawa from LA on August 4, it's September 20th and my stuff still isn't here. At the beginning, the agent gave me a very rosy picture, my stuff would arrive within a couple of weeks. Now that they charged me in full, It's been extremely frustrating to get even an estimate of when my stuff will arrive. I've been living in an empty house for weeks and I have no idea when I will receive my belongings. I understand the pandemic would cause problems, as it did for so many businesses, but I wish they were at least honest with me so that I could've planned accordingly. I hate to be writing this before my experience is complete, but I've been waiting and waiting to receive my things and it's been almost 7 weeks.

We Used Sunset to ship my car and a few boxes. I've been trying to sell my Station Wagon & downsize for months now. When my brother who lives in England said he'll take it and help out with Shipping expenses, I decided to look into it. Sunset made the process easy and much more affordable than I thought. I was assuming it was going to be near 5 figures but it wasn't half bad. The vehicle & 8 boxes of things he wanted arrived at a drop off point. My brother checked it out and said it was in great shape. He sent me a bunch of pictures of how everything arrived and it all looked great!

When planning my international move and researching various moving companies that would be able to ship from US to UK, I read so many horror stories and pretty much just assumed that this would not be an easy or straightforward process. Thankfully this was NOT the case in my experience! Sunset were on top of everything, extremely responsive, and got my things delivered to me safely and exactly on time despite pandemics and snow storms; foreseeing logistical delays due to the pandemic, they even moved up my collection date to ensure that there would be a bit of room to still make the delivery date. This definitely wasn't the cheapest solution--it ended up costing well over what I'd budgeted--however the costs were all given to me up front and there were no surprise charges. They usually operate in ground/sea transport, for which their rates were actually under my budget, but I needed to go air freight to get my office back in a timely manner so the additional cost was partly due to my unavoidable circumstances. Would definitely recommend Sunset for making my move NOT another horror story!

Started off not knowing much about international shipping and worrying about all the things that could go wrong. After dealing with Sunset I understand a lot more on the subject and now know that moving out of the country can be done without tons of stress involved. The staff here did a great job keeping us informed and updated. Both moving teams took full responsibility to make sure our possessions were well taken care of. Getting a two bedroom apartment to Australia seemed like such a difficult task. So much so that I was just considering selling everything but Sunset International gave me a lot of confidence over the phone and even more in person. Every last box arrived without damage. "

Sunset was an impressive company to do business with to say the least. They showed their expertise in something that few moving companies can do correctly or have the know how to facilitate - moving over seas. Our move from Boston to Wales turned out great and was more affordable than we had originally thought. Everyone did a great job. From the customer service, to both sets of movers ( 3 guys in Boston, 3 guys in Wales) to the operating manager who helped answer a lot of our questions. Thanks for getting done right.

Given the fact that complications occur during basic local moving my significant other and I were very worried about what could go wrong during this move. Over a month of searching, calling, re-searching, following up and double checking went into our decision before paying Sunset to handle our move to London. The fact that we called them back and emailed them multiple times to ask additional questions and they were always patience with us spoke well for their character. The other businesses that we were considering gave off an slight attitude - ""when you're ready to book the move contact us"". Sunset made the extra effort without ever knowing we were for sure going to use their services. They helped us understand the process with customs as well. Over the course of week they gained our trust and we became comfortable paying them for the move. In the end I'm glad we did. International moving is no joke and reading few horror stories online made realize how serious this move was. So I made sure to pick the company best suited for the job with the proper experience. From the actual start of the move to the introduction to our new moving team in Bermondsey (Southwark) things stayed on track. They made sure we were fully aware of how long the move would take and every detail to expect along the way. That made the whole experience much better. Upfront honesty with good service.

This wasn't a two men and a truck operation. It was a full organized team with great partners in Hawaii. It was both excited and a nerve wracking at the same lading a new job in Honolulu. Sunset helped me get everything I needed there without costing me my whole checking account. They had lower tiered option that made this move very management with money spare from my budget. Everything got there without any hassle. Everyone handled themselves very professionally and treated me well. This turned out to be a very smooth situation. Can't thank you guys enough.

Big Thanks to the staff for answering all my questions and not putting any pressure to book right away. They were calm, informative and we finally did chose them they delivered everything they promised. International moves are more than double of local no matter where you go. We're glad we took our time and found a place that knew the ins and outs of the job. Customer service was great and kept us informed during transit. In the end it worked out perfectly.
