I ordered this engine on Feb. 17th. It did NOT ship out until March 11th. It did not arrive until April 5th. ALMOST 2 months later. This is NOT what was advertised and promised. My vehicle was down all this time WAITING for the engine to be replaced. I was selling this vehicle and this delay cost me additional registration fees and months more insurance costs while waiting. IF they did not have this engine in stock then they should have not sold it. Now I dont know what engine I received as it was shipped after I called and complained. The engine I got leaks badly and now I have oil drops every where.I would not use this company again. Big price and NO help.

Hell Ron, We apologize for the delay in getting your engine. However you are in Hawaii and overseas shipments usually take much longer than normal. We also apologize you are having any leaks on the engine, However, these are used engines and we do not cover leaking seals, gaskets or fittings. This is clearly stated in the detailed Warranty Terms and Conditions several times as not to mislead potential customers before ordering. YOU FOLKS DO NOT RESPOND ON WARRANTY.WE PURCHASED A ENGINE AND THE HEAD GASKETS WERE LEAKING OIL WHEN WE UNWRAPPED IT.CALLED ON IT AND YOU SAID INSTALL IT,WHICH I DID NOT AGREE WITH.I'M A ASE MASTER TECHNICIAN AND I KNOW MY JOB.I CALLED WHEN THE ON WARRANTY WEEKS AGO AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD SEND ME A NEW ENGINE.NO RESPONSE YET.WHAT A JOKE.WE PAID GOOD MONEY AND HAVE GOTTEN VERY POOR SERVICE.I WILL NOT CONSIDER THEM AGAIN.MY AUTO SHOPS REP HAS TAKEN A HIT BECAUSE I TRUSTED THEM.NEVER AGAIN.

Hello David, We apologize you received this engine in this condition. Our warranty does not cover head gaskets and should be inspected before installation and replaced if deemed necessary by the mechanic installing the engine. However, we have made an exception and our sending out a new engine free of charge to you. What you think would be covered under a warranty, was not when we needed it. I would recommend that you research your warranty in detail. As what was told and/or understood was not the case with the purchase of the engine. The new engine burns an excessive amount of oil, but this is not considered a warranty issue. Although, employees we spoke to were very helpful on all other aspects of the purchase.

The Warranty Manager will be contacting you in attempt to resolve the issue as we were under the impression you would be following up with us and have never received any further feedback. I got the engine and installed it was making all kinds of noises turns out the timing chain guides were broken and very thin/worn so I call the warranty department the guy told me to just email him the receipt and I would get reimbursed I said ok and I did that now $500 later for the timing chains and guides and gaskets and o-rings I sent the e-mail and I keep calling and sending more e-mails and calling and leaving voice mails but no one will respond to me
