After looking at a watch, phone consult with a rep; they mined my information and sent me a Shopify invoice that came to my Apple wallet as pending; I did not contract this company for a watch, and it definately wasn’t even a watch I wanted. Buyer beware of marketing tactics

Just worked with SWE for the first time and had a great experience. My advisor/service rep was David R., and he was terrific! After I provided all necessary info and pictures, he quickly provided a quote for my 2 watches - a quote in line with others that I received. As I was looking to trade, David set up a video call so that I could see not only more detail on the watch, but he also provided me with a tour of the SWE operation. SWE provided a FedEx prepaid label and detailed boxing/shipping instructions. My watches arrived at SWE the next day and were authenticated in about an hour. At this point, I had changed my mind on the trade and opted for payment. David pivoted, engaged accounting, and an e-check was in my email inbox in less than an hour. I look forward to working again with David and SWE, who are solid partners for a collector and have a wide, ever changing selection when buying or trading. Separately, while I was working through email, text, and WhatsApp with David, the SWE CEO, Eugene Tutunikov, reached out to connect via LinkedIn - a really special, professional gesture. I recommend SWE in terms of customer service, value, professionalism, trust, and product variety.

I purchased an Omega Sea Master form them. The rep was extremely helpful even face timed me with the watch I would be getting. The watch was in exactly the condition described. I will definitely buy from them again.

I had been watching (no pun intended) the SWE website for a long time - and I found two watches that I purchased - a Cartier and a Patek Philippe. The entire process was seamless, the consultant (Michael Cash) was excellent, and he provided great help and guidance. The payment system the store requires (ACH) was a little inconvenient and made me feel uncomfortable (I must trust the store and pre-pay them 48 hrs before I get the physical watch), but in the end, I received the watches - and they were in better condition than I had anticipated. Michael was particularly helpful and his time is appreciated. I will purchase from SWE again, no question.

Return customer buying a Rolex this time around and I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care I received after the purchase. To my shock I received their in-house Certificate of Authenticity with the incorrect Rolex serial number for my watch which was extremely serious and a breach of contract. It took several days, multiple phone calls from me and speaking to 3 different people to get this addressed and sadly more errors were made which left me even more stressed. I expressed worries over the serial number being compromised but the situation was diffused in their favor and my concerns were just dismissed over a red sticker on the watchband. After all of the confusion over the certificate I finally noticed that the lume on the hands doesn’t work which renders the watch useless in dark conditions. This was not disclosed on the online listing for the watch as it was listed in ‘excellent condition’. As of this post I am still waiting for a corrected certificate to arrive via FedEx and I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Buyer beware. In response to SWE and for the general public’s edification since the company is now quoting emails and making allegations of extortion: 1. The online listing for this watch AND the Certificate of Authenticity clearly states ‘luminescent baton hands’, however this function DOES NOT WORK. I unfortunately did not discover this initially. For a company that prides themselves on their ‘expert watch makers’ this should have been uncovered when the watch was inspected and disclosed to the client. To claim that this is consistent with the age of the watch is reasonable ONLY if the lume hands feature had been left out of the online listing and off the certificate in my opinion and the watch condition and price accordingly. 2. As for the extortion allegation made by SWE- why would a fair person leave negative reviews online (that impacts their online presence) if both parties were able to work towards a mutually acceptable resolution? Mr. Eugene Tutunikov-you can expect to hear from my attorney. 3. Lastly, since SWE took the liberty of disclosing private e-mails: general public beware that that both Certificates of Authenticities I received were signed by Operations personnel and unless I receive further clarification as I requested via email-these certificates are not being signed by the watchmaker/technician that inspected the timepiece.

Hi Claudia, We saw your reviews related to the Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch that you purchased and wanted to reply to each of the elements in your review in turn. You are correct that we initially sent the Certificate of Authenticity with an incorrect serial number, where one digit was entered incorrectly. This is clearly an error on our part - a human error that can in no way be construed as "fraudulent" and one which we were quick to address. In fact, after speaking with Kate on our team regarding this issue, you sent us the following note, "It was nice speaking to you today and thank you so much for all of your help with this matter - I sincerely appreciate it!" At this point, your issue with the Certificate had been resolved, and you had now owned the watch for more than 10 days, removed the red inventory control tag, and resized the watch — all of which make this watch ineligible for a return. However, you then sent us notes several days later claiming that while the lume works perfectly on the hour markers it doesn't on the hands, so you now want to exchange the watch for something different - but then almost immediately afterwards, you sent more notes demanding a full return. This is a 25+ year old watch, and it is well known that the real-world experience of the lume brightness may not last long before becoming a very faint, ambient glow — especially on the application to the hands which is an extremely narrow strip. It also matters how you charge it - flashlight vs. sunlight, where the latter is definitely better. And then you sent even more notes saying that you would "gladly remove both reviews if this matter is resolved via a return / full refund. For the record it was always my intention to do so." So that's where we are right now. And to be clear, demanding a benefit, refund, or service in exchange for removing a negative review is widely defined as "review extortion" or "feedback extorsion" by most major platforms and business bureaus. Given all of the items above, we are not moving forward with a return or exchange. This is a great watch, and we hope that you enjoy it for many years. -- The SwissWatchExpo Team

I bought 2 watches from them a Breitling and Omega Seamster. Both arrived as described. Just recently my Omega stopped working. I was within the warranty period. I contacted them and they took care of my issue. They provided detailed instructions on how to send them my watch. 2 day shipping. They received my watch and completed service in 2 days. (Main spring broke) Watch was sent back same week. Total time from sending to repair and shipped back to me was about a week amd a half. Very impressed by Swisswatchexpo and would highly recommend.

The process was clean and efficient. No games, just good service. Their website is upfront about their inventory and allows you to easily browse to find just what you may want. There was no talk of a waitlist. I walked in knowing what I wanted and walked out with exactly that. I highly recommend.

Our Sell-Trade process is different from other folks in that it is specifically designed to be fully transparent and fast - once a Seller submits details to us (including pictures of their watch), they will receive a rapid response with a quoted range; we then can quickly inspect the watch upon receipt (we have an in-house team of Watchmakers!) and provide a final offer that stays inside the original range -- unless the watch differs materially from how it was described.
