I thought this process was well put together! This is my feedback: there were moments in that interview that sparked my grandma to pull from her memories, that I don't think are written anywhere. She told me she's written down most of her history growing up, but those memories are invaluable to me and my family! It was the questions that were asked that sparked that, and those are the parts that were so amazing to hear! I think when gathering the questions, the process was perfect. There were great examples that sparked catered question for us to ask her directly. Wonderful job.

I had the distinct pleasure of being interviewed by Tales.com so my family had a view into to my life as a child, teen, military man, student, husband and father. The interviews were about an hour long and the interviewer, Mark, kept things moving quite nicely by asking questions that required digging deep into one’s memory, making recollection a mostly pleasant experience. I would recommend Tales.com to anybody wanting to preserve their life experiences for generations present and future.

After finding out about Tales.com on Twitter, I reached out to explore the possibility of hiring the team to interview my dad around his 75th birthday. He was surprised to say the least at the idea of the interviews, but quickly schedule them directly with the Tales.com team. After each interview, my parents would recount additional things about their lives they had not thought about in many years, which in and of itself was great. However, the Tales.com team did a fantastic job with the interviews. Each interview covers a different aspect of my dad's life, and in crystal clear audio. We have this permanent memento now on the web and as a downloaded file. Well worth it. We decided that hearing your own family tell their own story in their own words would be both easier and more impactful for posterity than a written format, so this was a great choice for our family.
