I have been assigned a Small Claims Judgment against Greenlaw Consulting Group, INC. In the San Bernardino County Superior Court, CASE # SCVA2401823. However, after researching both companies Greenlaw Consulting Group, INC and Tax Relief Helpers have the same principles Officers filed with the State of California Secretary of state.

under no conditions would i use this company i was scammed out of 7205.00 and was validated by another attorney that they did infact scam me. nothing after months of abuse on the phone im 79 my neighbor had to take over being a corporate person they were abusive to him too. they did absolutely nothing months later again i had to pay another firm to mitigate my cApital gains validating tax reliTAX RELIEF HELPERS SCAMMED ME nothing reported to irs i could have been in big trouble with the irs. please im a very honest person. i was treated as if i was a criminal retaining this firm is absolutely bad please contact me if you want and ill tell you the truth. the other firm asked for my papers and within a week filed with IRS VERY INTERSTING TOO IS THAT THEY REFUSED ME ATTORNEYS NAMES WELL THAT COULD BE A SCAM TOO THEY ARE COMPLELEY DISHONEST

I hired them and gave them all of my savings ($7000) to help me with IRS debt I never knew existed and fraudulent claims filed and signed by my soon-to-be-ex-husband while I was medically and legally incapacitated from a brain injury, multiple hospital admissions for meningitis/septic shock, and became permanently disabled. I receive SSDI and LTD insurance payments. When they sent me the paper tax filings to sign and get refiled as married but single, they incorrectly counted my LTD W2’s as WORK INCOME,. And also the numbers did not add up when compared to my 1099’s and W2’s from my LTD company. I called many, many, MANY times to try and speak to a CPA I was told they would have to call me back and they never did. I kept explaining the issue to whoever answered the phone…..but of course those people were not CPA’s and did not understand the urgency of my situation or what I was talking about……yet over and over again I could not get an actual CPA or tax expert to call me back and get the issue fixed!!!! So after dealing with them for 6 months and nothing being done, I requested my money be returned and had to take out a loan to hire a Tax Attorney who understood the magnitude of my situation and actually explained to me (and uploaded to my online account) the tax returns my ex filed and exactly how he falsely filled them out and got a huge return…….while I was stuck in the hospital and unable to manage my finances or even take care of myself. He spent 2 hours going back through 10 years where there were more questionable returns filed the next couple of years. But the IRS did flag them as fraud and years of interest and late fees, etc making it both a legal issue for me and financial. My ex had even made an online IRS account for me and put in a PO Box as my address which explained why I never received anything from them. It was identity theft and taking advantage of my inability to go file with a CPA as I always did. Also, there were several years he didn’t even file at all!!! I regained control of my account over 10 years later when we had separated and the CPA wouldn’t file my taxes because he said I had a huge IRS liability. OMG!!! That’sthe only wayi found out and Ihad to keep calling them just to get into my account to reclaim it, lock him out, and give them all of the correct information (MY phone number, address, etc). This is really a huge mess and there are also other IRS forms and affidavits to fill out and provide documentation of my legal and medical incapacitation. But they just took my money, promised that they could help me, and then incorrectly filled out the new paper tax returns to sign so they could file them and help me navigate all of the forms and things I had to provide. This is seriously ridiculous. I was put in the single worst position with the IRS!!! And they just ignored me despite having signed a contract to help me navigate through the many issues I faced and represent me to the ITS with promises that I wouldn’t owe anything due to the fact that I could prove I had no idea what he had done nor had I benefitted from the huge returns he received (in a separate bank account in HIS name. Serious legal trouble….and they put me at risk of having my entire disability income levied and sent to the IRS. Timing was/is critical in this situation. But they absolutely breached their contract and did nothing for me and wouldnt even tell me or show me WHY I even had a tax debt with my name on it!!! They refused outright to show me what I was unable to access on my website account. I finally was shown everything by the new Tax attorney so I could understand what the heck had happened!!! It took me 8 years to regain cognitive function and be able to stay out of the hospital for a few years……so all this time had passed without me having a clue that I had an urgent and incredibly serious tax issue with the IRS. I do not recommend hiring them. They made promises and explained the law and what needed to be done to extricate myself from every single tax return my ex filed…..or the lack of him filing one. The attorney there told me it could be quickly resolved because the law protected me. Then they took my savings and ran. And as of a year later, I am still trying to get my money back!

I spoke at length with Mr. Ben Fargo who was extremely pleasant and helpful. I was very upset and worried about my situation and he walked me through the procedures and steps I need to take to get my issue resolved. You have a valuable employee in Mr. Fargo!

Fees paid up front. Estimated settlement amounnt paid up front. Once they have the fee, and the estimated settlement amount you never speak to a lawyer again. All calls are handled by call-center type latin males. The use of long hold times and long transfer times are common. Bottom line; upon getting my file resolved I called Tax relief helpers and two different "agents" told me my case was a priority and still in a 'pending status'. I asked if they were certain of this fact; yes sir was the answer. Neither representative had access to my file neither representative had any clue as to my settlement status. They will not release my $22K+. 1 year now. This is my experience-you may have better luck. You will be an unimportant entity once they get your money.

People were very helpful, polite and accommodating, Very pleasant for such an unpleasant thing as taxes.
