I was a bit disappointed to find out that we were not able to install alarm sensors on our windows due to age of the windows, therefore waiting a month for installation to find out we could only get 50% of the products that we expected. Communication upfront of requirements would be helpful to avoid this situation and client dissatisfaction.

I was told I could use the system already in place. Once the technician arrive he told me that I couldn’t use the current system and then I was charged $290 for a new system. Felt like a bait and switch…

The sensor that was installed in the basement near the door, the battery died the next day. The way its installed I can't even replace it.

Just received a letter by post notifying that the monthly TMC installments will be moved from $9.99 to $12.99 per month beginning August 1, 2021. The increase in cost is significant for senior citizens on limited income. When signed up with TMC years ago, we were advised the fee would remain at $9.99 per month for our elderly father, in order to keep it affordable for him. A 30% increase? Wow! Very disappointed.

The service seems ok. The install was a horrible experience. First off they only come around once a month. Then after waiting weeks the installer showed up with out the system we ordered (which he knew he didn't have the day before) and then wanted to piece something together to "make it work". Well thats not what we paid for. Then some how this was all our fault. No attempt to make it right just leave our business with no alarm for another month when he returns. When I call to speak to a supervisor he puts me on a three way call with the tech who clearly did not want to return to the site and I listened to them haggle for about 40 minutes till I gave in and said forget it I will see you in a month. Once the system was installed I had asked to go over the system with me. Well it went like this "this is how you arm it and disarm it, the rest you can look up online. oh and here is the name of the app. pretty self explanatory" So I wait two months for my system to be upgraded and then he was in such a hurry I spent the next 2 hours on the phone with tech support trying to go over setting the rest of the system up. I only give it two stars because the monitoring service is cheaper. The rest was a horrible experience!
