Hi Danny,
Thank you for your comments.
Whilst I always invite - and appreciate - constructive comments, I found your comments to be very hostile and misleading.
It is a common practice in our business for our competitors to leave negative and disparaging reviews, with the intent to deflect from other (successful) business, such as The Pattern Trader. Your review feels very much like that.
At the outset, you state "I don't know exactly where the reviews on this site come from". This is explicitly why we post reviews on Trustpilot. It is a beyond dispute and reputable review website, and reviews (such as yours) cannot be altered by anyone. So, the 295+ reviews posted on Trustpilot regarding me, and The Pattern Trader, are completely 100% authentic. For you to imply otherwise, is simply disingenuous.
Secondly, in your review you have stated, or implied The Pattern Trader is, or could be a "scam". I take personal exception to this. You can ask tens of thousands of our members, and many thousands of others that have attended our FREE webinars, I go out of my way to be 100% transparent. In our paid - and free webinars - I share (win-or-lose) my personal trades on a LIVE account.
My objective when starting The Pattern Trader, was to share the trading knowledge I have accumulated in over four decades of trading the markets. This is an educational service intended to free and liberate traders from hype, opinion, pundits, analysts, politicians, economists etc. My prevailing trading methodology is predicated on the premise, the Market is ALWAYS Right! I share my interpretations of price patterns and price action that have implications for broad moves in the market. My objective is to capitalize on the large, and very large, moves in the market. This means I do not have to be right on any one trade, or a series of trades. One profitable trade can erase the losses of ten trades. Over the past several weeks, I have been (very) accurate in my analysis of the patterns - and trajectory - of prices in indexes, gold and individual stocks.
In the past six months, we have seen unprecedented volatility in the markets. Indexes are going up and down 1%...an hour! In my Daily emails, I suggest take-profit levels, but have repeatedly stated, that when a trade goes into profit, traders should look to take partial profits. In my live webinar sessions, I go into much greater detail. In the end, while I strive to deliver, what I believe to be the BEST trading education anywhere, individual results will vary.
Since November 2021, I have enthusiastically stated to out members, the US Stock Indexes are in a bear market, and likely to go much lower. I urged caution in the rally from Jun through August, as I believe this was a knee-jerk "bear-market" rally. In the past few weeks, The US Stock Indexes are starting to roll-over, and I think they will head much lower.
To take advantage of an anticipated market collapse, I have suggested to our members to Short the Indexes and etf's (QQQ, DIA, IGV etc).
In my personal account, amongst many other (Short trades), two weeks ago when the Dow Jones was climbing over 34,000, based on my observation of a Diamond shaped bear price pattern, I started accumulating a very large PUT option position in the DIA ETF. I started buying DIA Put options (Strike: 300, Exp: Oct 21), at prices averaging between $1.50-$2.00. Those Put options are currently trading at $5.00, or a return of over 300% in just two weeks. I bought literally 1000's of these Puts. I expect these Put options to go much higher, and I believe I am in a position to make SEVEN figures on ONE trade. This is the education, and moves, I seek to identify and get our members capitalize. It is not an approach for everybody.
That is why we are very selective about our membership process, and end up turning back more than we accept.
If I am incorrect about your intentions, and would like to speak with me personally, please contact our support team, and they will arrange a call.
In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck i your trading journey.
Regards,
Mark - The Pattern Trader
