Did not honour their quotation
I saw this company on Google, noted their high TrustPilot score and requested a quote for 200,000 Avios points to go to my British Airways (BA) account. When I accepted their quotation they told me that it would cost extra to transfer to BA although this is what they quoted for. They wanted me to open an account with Qatar Airlines and share the points - but I'm not comfortable doing this. I was disappointed that they did not honour their quotation.

Hello Gerald, We take all feedback seriously, which is why we feel it’s important to clarify the context of this review. During our communication, we suggested Qatar because it offered a significantly more cost-effective option since BA & QR Avios both share the same points currency and serves the same purpose. Our recommendation was made purely to help you obtain the best value, which is the approach we take with every client. We were able to accommodate your request for BA; however, that option carried a higher cost than the Qatar alternative we recommended to save you money. In your written correspondence to us, you stated that you were unwilling to engage with Qatar based on their regional, ethnic association. You also indicated this was the reason you felt “uncomfortable.” We want to be clear: our company does NOT evaluate airlines — or serve clients — based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, or political assumptions. We deal with clients globally and offer recognized programs purely based on value and operational performance. For the sake of transparency to future readers, this review does not reflect a failure of service, but rather a biased disagreement rooted in personal views about a suggested frequent flyer program that was offered solely as a cost-saving option. We remain committed to serving a diverse global clientele with professionalism and fairness. The Points Trader
