Door has not worked properly since installed on a new build home in 2018. Triple lock system failed immediately. Door handle leaks cold air in and is difficult to operate. Embarrassing when we have company. Light shows around the door opening. Whistles and moans when the wind blows. Had a representative of the company stop offer and promise to replace the door handle mechanism "For Free!. Never happened. Measured the door opening and frame. Didn't share results, but said he would talk with the door supplier (DBC) Countless phone calls and emails have been ignored. Local DBC company in Byron, MInnesota has become unresponsive. This is an 8 foot door and 40 inches wide. Not Cheap! Never again. Warranty? HAHAHAHA!~

Spent $9,000 on door to have it rot. Waste of money and from a company that won’t back their product and blame it on sub contractors that put the door frames together. Don’t waste you money front door leaked 2 months after install. They applied caulk and said it was good, well it wasn’t good

We like the doors we purchased but are very unhappy with the service. The company is not willing to help with any warranty issues. We are referred to another company (Wholesale Building Materials) that stains the doors for them and does warranty work. Wholesale Building Materials told us we had to buy a new door. Very disappointing as we do like the looks of the doors

Do not buy a ThermaTru product! Or anything from Meeks lumber in Roseville, CA. They are way overpriced and do not honor their warranty. They contract with Orepac building suppliers, a company that keeps sending customers incorrect doors, then tries to schedule a technician 6 or so weeks later to 'remedy' their mistake after the doors are installed. All while knowing after market drilling on fiberglass doors voids the warranty and compromises the structure and water proofing. Breech of contract! I really wish someone would file a class action lawsuit against businesses who take advantage of people like this!

The control mechanism for my French door built in blind of my French door was broken. Called a dozens times over the last two days. Can’t get any help to order parts or contractors from Therma Tru, its local dealers, or installer even when i offer to pay labors and parts. The customer service reps didn’t even listen without interrupting. The doors were installed in 2019. What a waste of money. Would i buy Therma Tru products again? Nope.

Do not buy a Therma-True product. Their customer service is poor at best. I had an issue with the multi-point locking system. It took two weeks of standard scripted answers and final insisting on speaking to Manager to get the phone number of their vendor. When I called the vendor, they knew of the issue and was able to provide both a part number and source for the item. Some of the individuals I spoke to include Francey, Lance, Braden and the 'manager' Ronda. As a customer I should not have to trace the vendor of a component part of a custom door I ordered. As the assembler and marketer of the product the company should be a central point of information. I wasted countless hours, listened to people reading back the notes of the issue. Every time I asked to speak to someone senior as always told that they were in a meeting. This high-end product should come with better support. Train your staff and TAKE OWNERSHIP of the product you ship,

Do not buy Therma-tru fiberglass doors. I had them professionally installed and within 6 months water started coming in my house thru door openings. Mold growing all over on outside of door. Therma-tru will NOT honor 5yr warranty, saying contractor didn't caulk/waterproof door. Contractor did do this at install. Save yourself the trouble & buy a different brand. Therma-tru closed my case with the BBB saying they "responded" to me by denying my claim.
