VermontCountryStoreReviews of thevermontcountrystore.com

I have been ordering from this company for several years, done a few returns with no issues, got free shipping when warranted and the products have always been good quality and exactly as Id hoped. So very satisfied with this company overall and will continue to do business with them in the future.

When researching this store, I got so worried about the bad reviews, especially the return process. Fortunately, my return process went flawlessly. They sent me a return label in my email, I packaged my return and sent it off. The return was delivered and I expected to wait weeks according to these reviews (if I ever got it), but it was processed 2 days later. I'm so relieved, and I'll definitely be doing business with them again now that I had such a good experience.

I've ordered from this store with no problems. Ordered 2 rocking chairs 8/20 and they were in process for 11 days. Inquired twice during this time period as why the it takes that long to process. Received notice 10/31 item shipped. I had received an initial tracking number that never worked and received a completely different tracking that also is worthless. Still have no clue when the hell the chairs are going to show up, if ever.

I began with a frustrating experience due to perfume I ordered getting lost in the mail somewhere between the Rutland, VT Post Office & a Phila Post office. So I asked for a refund ~ which The Vermont Country Store granted. Then 2 days later- the perfume shows up. But thank you to The Vermont Store for making things right by me.

I love Vermont country store and have ordered from them before with no issues however this time I ordered a king size navy blue seersucker comforter. it was not cheap I believe I paid about $130 for it. I was happy with it when it showed up but the first time I took it off the bed to wash it I realize there was a huge flaw in it. running down only one side of the comforter about 2 ft in from one side was a seam with a half inch overlap sticking out where they had obviously piece together two separate pieces to make my King comforter. if there had been a matching seam on the other side I would think that was just the way it was manufactured but there is not. it's just a super cheaply made comforter. it really upset me because I loved this comforter so much when I got it that I had saved the information in my phone to reorder it when it wore out. I am waiting for Vermont country store to make it right. we will see

Problem is with the store greeters. Aggressive, scripted, fly at you when you walk in the front door, asking a lot of questions. Very strange, never encountered anything like it.

I told rep I wanted FREE shipping at start of conversersation, after I ordered SF candy(2 boxes) told me total was $90 some, ask why, he had included shipping. I told him free shipping & he said I have other people waiting on the line, very RUDE, you need to improve your customer service big time, in catalog you act like you care about us, just like everybody else all about profit. Don't know if I"ll order from you again. Give me job answering phone, you won't have any complaints.

I like the quality of the products that I have purchased. The problem is that they use FedEx as their shipper. Was to receive an item (a gift) on a Wednesday now it will be another week and perhaps longer because FedEx keeps delaying delivery. Companies need to stop using FedEx as that is a primary reason for dissatisfaction.
