I’m sorry to hear your experience didn’t meet expectations, James.
I’d like the opportunity to look into your experience further and better understand where the communication and support broke down. If you’re open to it, please send me your business name and best contact information so I can connect you with the appropriate team for review.

They are useless
They are useless. All they care about is making you agree so they have you for 6 months. After that they dont care if their service helps your or not. They will lie to make you sign up. They do nothing to help you even though you are paying them 250 dollars a month. They just stop calling and keep collecting.

Hi there, I’m really sorry to hear this was your experience. That’s definitely not how we want anyone to feel.
I do see you still have Marketing Center active, so I’d love to help make sure you’re actually getting value out of what you’re paying for. When it’s set up and used, you should be seeing consistent support and clear progress, not feeling left on your own. If communication dropped off, that’s something I’d want to fix. I’m happy to take a look at your account with you, identify what’s been missed, and get things back on track.
I found your account, more to come soon!

Deeply disappointing
I attended a Thryv 'Product showcase' online event today. The promise for the session was that I'd be informed about exciting new product updates to Keap, the product I've used for more than 14 years (and that's recently been acquired by Thryv). For the first half of the event, Keap wasn't even mentioned. I felt confused, let down and disappointed. When Keap was mentioned briefly towards the end, there was no clarity on relevance of the features to the version of Keap I use and no timelines given – nor was there any clarity on how Keap and the Thryv Marketing Center, which was heavily promoted at the beginning, were going to align / cooperate going forward in the wider Thryv ecosystem. This felt like poor expectation setting and poor communication. Sadly, I left with my confidence severely dented in Thryv as a company.

Richard - I’m really sorry this was your experience, that’s not the takeaway we want from a product showcase, especially for someone who’s been with Keap for 14+ years.
You’re absolutely right to expect clear, relevant updates and a better connection between Keap and the broader Thryv ecosystem. It sounds like we may have missed the mark on setting expectations and delivering clarity around timelines, product alignment, and what this means specifically for your version of Keap.
I’d really appreciate the chance to connect with you directly and walk through what’s coming, how Keap fits into our long-term direction, and what you can expect moving forward. I'll be requesting your info securely via Trust Pilot so I can pull up your info and help. Thanks!

Thank you Meredith
Meredith persuaded me to let thryv help with digital marketing for our small business, and I am glad she did. Meredith and the other members of the thryv team who have helped me are knowledgeable, attentive, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

Over Priced
Over Priced! Impossible to get ahold of someone to cancel 'services'. Taking advantage of a small business is wild work.

I hear you, and I’m really sorry this has been your experience. Feeling stuck or unable to reach someone, especially when you’re trying to cancel, is not the level of service we look to accomplish.
If you’re open to it, I’d like to personally help get this resolved for you as quickly as possible. Please reach out to me directly so I can make sure your cancellation is handled and review your account with you at [email protected]. Thanks!

DO NOT USE THRYV!!!
ETA: After filing a complaint with a Better Business Bureau, I was taken care of; my account has been canceled and a refund has been processed. Finally.
DO NOT USE THRYV!!!! If I could give zero stars, I would. Initially the system worked with QuickBooks. After many months of glitches and issues, they just decided they would no longer support QuickBooks integration. I've sold my business and tried to cancel, but continue to receive bills and I keep getting the run around with customer service. Either I am transferred, then disconnected, or the customer service rep says they are unable to handle my request. For a subpar system, you would hope they would at least have decent customer support. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

I’m really sorry to hear about your experience, especially during something as important as selling your business.
I want to acknowledge a few things directly. Changes like the QuickBooks integration can be disruptive, and we should be clearly communicating those updates and supporting you through them. More importantly, you shouldn’t be getting the runaround when trying to cancel or resolve billing, that’s not the experience we want for any client. I'll be reaching out via Trust Pilot to help further. Thanks!

12+ great years in business 2 miserable with Thryv
I spent about 12 years in the online marketing and Yellow Pages industry and was working for Vivial before Thryv acquired the company. During my time in the industry, I consistently performed as one of the top reps nationally and managed one of the largest books of business. I had long-standing relationships with many clients who trusted my recommendations.
When Thryv acquired Vivial, we were strongly encouraged to transition our clients to Thryv’s software platform. The compensation incentives were significant, which initially created excitement and momentum. However, once the product was implemented with clients, the experience quickly deteriorated.
The software frequently did not perform as advertised, implementation was consistently problematic, and support challenges made it extremely difficult to deliver positive outcomes for small and medium-sized businesses. Many clients became frustrated due to poor onboarding experiences, unmet expectations, and lack of follow-through. Over time, it became increasingly difficult to confidently recommend the platform because the client experience simply did not match what was promised.
As someone who built a career on trust and long-term relationships, this was extremely disappointing. Many clients invested time, money, and energy expecting improved marketing performance and operational efficiency, but instead encountered ongoing issues that negatively impacted their businesses.
In addition, organizational changes following the acquisition significantly disrupted established teams and client relationships. Many experienced professionals left the company as confidence in leadership and product direction declined.
I also experienced legal pressure related to alleged client conflicts despite having no involvement with the company they referenced. While I was ultimately able to resolve the matter, I am aware of former colleagues who faced similar situations and incurred unnecessary legal expenses.
Based on my experience, I would strongly caution small and medium-sized businesses to carefully evaluate alternative providers before committing to Thryv’s platform. There are many reputable marketing and CRM solutions available that deliver better reliability, stronger onboarding, and more consistent results.
While I appreciate the experience gained during my time in the industry, I would not choose to work with or recommend Thryv moving forward. Gary Hall is an absolute low life. Have to say I would love to see Thryv turn it around but very curious to see how they can keep best intrest of clients before share holders

We appreciate the impact you made during your time and wish you continued success moving forward.
