I needed a new backpack to replace my old Carhartt bag and wanted something customizable with our company logo for year-end employee gifts. This bag is impressively durable yet light, and customizing it with the team was a pleasure. Really good for short 2-days trips too, this was more spacious than expected as a laptop bag.

I was attracted by this innovative backpack company with interesting designs. I recommended my backpack to friends who admired it. But within a couple of months the strap started disintegrating. The company promise repair, but the customer service has been awful. Very unresponsive and extraordinarily slow. I was about to buy a smaller version for myself but I would strongly recommend against it.

Hi Stephen, We’re really sorry to hear about the issue with your backpack strap, and that you’ve felt let down by our responsiveness that’s never the experience we want for anyone. We’ve looked into our support records, but unfortunately with only your first name we weren’t able to identify your messages, so we can’t comment directly on your specific case just yet. That said, we absolutely stand behind our 5-year guarantee and can help resolve this for you. To get things moving quickly, we have a short claim form (linked in our FAQs) that collects photos of the issue, your current shipping address, proof of purchase or order ID, and any extra details you’d like to include. This helps us get repairs or replacements sorted smoothly. If it’s easier, you can also email our team directly at [email protected] with the above information, and we’ll guide you from there. Please feel free to add Attn: Amber in the subject line and I will personally assist you. We’d really like to turn this around for you please do reach out so we can make it right. Warm regards, Amber & The Troubadour Team

I purchased the Troubadour Ember Backpack when I started a job that required frequent cross-city travel. I needed a lightweight option that could comfortably carry both work and personal essentials and this bag has been perfect. It’s incredibly light, yet durable, and doesn’t strain my shoulder like traditional totes. The size is just right, with thoughtfully designed compartments that keep everything organised and easy to access. On top of its practicality, I love its sleek, understated design - it looks as good as it performs. The best part is also the excellent customer service :)

Hi! It’s brilliant to hear the Ember Backpack is making your city commutes a lot easier. We designed it to be light and practical without sacrificing style, so it’s awesome to know it’s nailing the job for both work and everyday use. Really appreciate you mentioning the customer service too – we try to make every interaction as smooth as the bag itself. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience; it genuinely means a lot.

I recently purchased a bag from this store, and I have to say, I’m incredibly impressed. The quality of the material is truly high-end, and the design has been thought through beautifully, with pockets and zippers positioned in such clever, practical ways. I was served by Amar, who was professional, extremely helpful, and gave me the space to make my own choices without pressure. Overall, it’s the perfect bag for work, and I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for both style and quality.

I recently bought an Apex Compact Backpack, a sling bag, and a buddy case, and the quality of all the products is exceptional. I use my backpack daily and am consistently impressed by how lightweight it feels, even with my laptop, keyboard, additional accessories, phone, hairbrush, and a water bottle. I walk about a mile every day with it, and it's wonderfully comfortable. I was also incredibly impressed with Troubadour's customer support. When one of my orders went missing, their team handled the situation with speed and professionalism, providing frequent, clear communication and a quick resolution every step of the way.

Me and my wife both bought Troubadour backpacks last year. I use the backpack everyday primarily in the office and for the occasional business trip. Everything has been great except for the handle, which started to delaminate after a few months. We reached out to Troubadour which were super helpful and decided to replace the backpack with a new one. And all of that happened in 1-2 days. Great customer service!

Sorry to hear about the handle, but really glad the team got it sorted so quickly for you. That kind of fast, no-fuss support is exactly what we aim for. The first impression was great—sleek design, nice appearance, and high-quality materials. My usage pattern is very basic: every day I have a 20-minute subway ride to the office and back home. In my backpack, I usually carry a MacBook, sunglasses, water, and a few other light items—nothing heavy. After less than a year, the top grab handle tore and began to delaminate on the sides. This not only looks awful and cheap but also makes it uncomfortable to use. Since the company promises free shipping for repairs during the first year, I contacted support, hoping they could fix it. They replied that this issue doesn’t affect the backpack’s functionality and offered me nothing. After another six months, the handle looks even worse. I can't afford to use damaged items, so I now need a new backpack. It definitely won’t be from Troubadour. UPD: company’s representative contacted me recently offering a replacement; yesterday I received a new backpack with completely reworked grad handle. The new implementation looks much more robust and solid than the older version. I just can’t imagine how this new grab could get damaged:) Given how responsive the team was and a new grab handle construction, I am glad to change the rating to 5 stars

Hello Vadym, Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, though I’m genuinely sorry it wasn’t better. We completely understand how frustrating it must’ve been to have your grab handle wear out, especially with such light day-to-day use. That’s not the standard we set for our products, or the experience we want anyone to have with us. I’ve flagged your new guarantee claim for the Apex Compact with our team, and our manager is personally reviewing it today to ensure a fair and prompt resolution. We’ve clearly fallen short the first time around, and we’re keen to make that right. Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to take another look. Our Manager will be in touch shortly with next steps.
